Have you invested in a syndication before? What was your experience like?

The firm I worked at had almost a 70% average IRR for all the projects we sold last year. Finding a good operator is important

Can you please do a video on Multi family vs Hotels? CRE content creators rarely talk about hotel investing & brokering

Great video as always! Was wondering: Do Syndications have any tax advantages over REITS aside from Bonus Depreciation?
@collenkane4109Ай бұрын
I believe it largely depends on the country of registration and the regulations governing the syndication platform you're investing with. I personally know of a passive property investment platform in Dubai that doesn't charge taxes. Frankly speaking it can provide a significant tax advantage compared to REITs, which are often subject to different tax rules.

I'm new to home buying. How do I vet a neutral for a potential house that's over 2hr away? Any of them will tell me what I want to hear. But not all of them can be trusted or have an investor mind.

Hi Justin, thanks for all your great content. Interested in knowing if you would consider a real estate investment management that deals purely in syndication as a GP is considered RE PE?
@CBRE2023 Жыл бұрын
more specifically an investment management firm that operates both on the AM and acquisition side, in the value add office space in CRE.
@BreakIntoCRE Жыл бұрын
@@CBRE2023 Generally yes - CRE investment firms that raise third-party equity (via syndications or funds) and operate as the GP would usually fall under the "REPE" category. Great to hear you're enjoying the content!
