There is no identifiable information, plus revealing the generic statistic can assist in some cases - for example I now know to be on guard against these sins, or a priest would know his parish could benefit from a series of sermons on these issues, or that the archdiocese could benefit from a retreat or day of reflection on these topics.

I have often suspected that a woman's natural tendency towards manipulation does have a proper place in the raising of children (especially toddlers). Especially when the 'terrible twos' hit it takes real skill in getting children to make good choices and stick to them - and the best way to do that is to convince them that the good choice was entirely their decision. One of my nephews (many, many years ago) absolutely dominated his mother by the time he turned 3. While between jobs she moved in with me and stayed several months. She was absolutely shocked at how well he minded me - no temper tantrums, no sulking, so screaming fits, he was absolutely the best behaved of little boys.

Hmm I'm not so sure it's as innocent as you make out. In genesis it says "And the woman will try to control her husband but in the end he will rule over her". I think the sinful nature of fallen woman means she will use manipulation and covert tactics to control men and try to gain power them. This is all in an attempt to get from man what only God can give. Women are obsessed with relationships but its the relationship with God that's the only one that can break the curse women are under.

That's how the movie The Secret became so big. Women down on their luck bought into this movie. I don't know how many women recommended it to me. A few years after the movie, books and all the hype people were saying," how long do I have to do my mantras before something happens?" The Secret had a community of followers of like minded followers and I think it was an easy path to other mystical/occult things.

There is nothing wrong with competition but jealousy and envy is something else. Women also retaliate against other women while men do not. Get Holy water and Blessed Salt and bless everything they own with it (no need to tell them). Sprinkle Holy Water all over their bed and room, give them glasses of it with their meal, and ask God to use these sacramentals to protect your child and bring them to Christ.

Keep fervently praying for them, especially ask St. Michael and St. Benedict to pray for them. Keep yourself in a state of grace, go to confession regularly. You could try a green scapular for your children. Follow the example of St. Monica, pray fervently, it was her prayers that helped St. Augustine turn away from sin and achieve sainthood.

Hi Barbara. Sorry to hear your family is going through this. Pray the Rosary as often as you can for your children and hand it over to God to deal with. There's nothing else you can do but at the same time it may well save your family. I fell into addiction after turning my back on God for 20 years. I firmly believe it was my parents prayers and the grace of God that kept me alive. It was nothing short of a miracle that I didn't die or end up in jail. Fasting is also very powerful along with prayer. Praying for you and your family!🙏

I don't think so. Because it is not of the practitioner's volition, they will still have an attachment to the demons. And with that attachment, the demons could manifest the cards back into the person's possession. Also, demons are not contained within the cards; the cards are a medium to connect with them.

I was thinking about this the other day. Less than 6% of women under 30 say they are NOT virgins while over 30% of men under 30 ARE virgins. The math doesn't pan out, unless... 1) The poled women are married (doubt it) 2) Those men are committing a LOT of extra sexual sins in comparison 3) Women justify their sins to themselves and don't bother confessing it I wonder which is the most likely answer.

There are exceptions. Some women, particularly those with a strong Marian devotion, practice prudence and seek discernment. My late sister dabbled in tarot and even as a non-practicing, cultural Catholic, I knew it was both nonsensical and possibly dangerous.
