Agree with most of the above. However at some point the time and effort spent on your own repairs isn’t worth it. Much better to pay a professional to do it correctly. Doing your own oil change doesn’t save that much after the cost of buying the oil and filter and tools, and then the time to go dispose the used oil safely. I’d rather spend that time working and earning my income. If you’re knowledgeable about repairs then it can save money but if not it’s much quicker and easier to get a professional to do their job.

1. People who take care of their cars change oil every 3 months. You can chose to change in once per year. Your choice. 2. Not doing self wash is a personal choice. Never said touch-less wash is unaffordable. Some days I do self wash as well. 3. The commercial vaccum is uneatable in terms of strength, cheap knock off amazon/walmart vaccums can never compete.

@@PiyushCanada bro i do not know how much you drive your car but if you know anything about cars then 99% of cars use synthetic oil now and minimum requirement is 8000 kms and for new cars its even go upto 16000 kms. I am sure that you do not drive your car for more than 8000 kms in 3 months. Also it depends upon you how much you get your car dirty that you that powerful vaccum. i even use my normal household vaccum in it . You mentioned that here winter tyres are must which is not specially in Lower mainland area. Yes if you are in Northern part of BC or towards kamloops, Golden etc And evrything I am saying its from long experience plus I am a tech enthusiatic and I worked in an automotive company for almost less than a decade. So basically there are ways where you can save money even in this content of yours. I have nothing against you, I can help you in some of the details if you need. Good luck
