In this video, I am sharing my actual G2 road test route, some tips, and what to expect on the day of your road test.
NOTE This info is valid as of May 2023. This is one route that is possible for your G2 Road test. However, there are more possible routes.

Thank you for sharing this. I got the same route yesterday and I passed. This route is very easy. No traffic less vehicles. Since no cars for parallel parking was asked reverse and front parking. It was just 10 mins ride. The examiner mainly checks signal, speed, mirror checks and pedestrian checks etc

Failed mine today, the last stop sign before you come back, that white line is a lot closer than it looks. Also failed for "incorrect choice of lane as a new driver" apparently I had to be in the right lane, even though I was never given any instruction on it...

Hey bro are they going to ask you to turn off the blind spot monitoring and how about the back up camera ?

I passed yesterday. My examiner didn't ask me to turnoff anything.

Most likely they won't tell u to turn it off but maybe some examiners will cover the backup camera with something or tell you not to look at it.

At 7:34 if there is a car going left from that street. Who has the right of the way?

The main road always has right of way. But even though we have right of way, still double check because some people don't know or don't pay attention.

no, usually the instructor wants to see you do both front and reverse parking at least one time.

Yes they don’t check windshield wipers

Unless the wiper is not on the car or visibly damaged then maybe they won’t let you do it but if it’s not visibly damaged and it’s not raining they won’t check it

My instructor asked me to do a maneuver in front of the school where parents and kids were passing constantly because it was 8:45. I was so nervous. I hit the curb, and he failed me.

It's fine just don't wait too long before re-doing your g2 because everything is fresh in your head now and if you wait too long you might forget. Just do it again ASAP and this time be ready for it.

@TestTips2023 Thank you. I rebooked for Nov. 20. I will do it at Port Union again. I did everything right except when I was pulling out after my downhill park and hit the curb. I felt like crap after he failed me, but I realized that I needed to learn some more. Thank you!!!

@@lascellesstoddart3907 Nope. I turned into the wrong lane😭😭😭 I will try again at Downsview. Am so bummed omg. 😞 I think Port Union is easy but too quiet. Lots of room for error.

The speed limit was there 60 k/ h but you said 50 k/h

yes you are right that was my mistake. However, if you don't see a speed limit posted you assume 50km/h.

For my test, there were no cars parked in a good spot so we couldn't do it. However, it is very possible you do parallel parking if the opportunity is there.

If you don’t do parallel, they ask you to do reverse parking, as far as I’ve been told. They won’t have you do both
