The cost is cheap but you have to spend for equipment and gear

Aaron Martin keep in mind most of these kids probably all live near each other. I never participated before but I’m assuming you have to sign up sometime prior to the event and there’s a entree fee like most things (paintball, etc). Your gun has rules I know that but I believe what you wear is entirely up to you, I don’t think they require you to wear anything but if you’re smart you’ll get all the gear. Makes it more fun and feel more realistic, also you probably won’t get stung by bbs much.

FS2K4Pilot ironically, many real 1911s have feeding issues and it’s commonly crappy magazines. A$20-$40 fix. I called kimber about a problem with a customers gun and they said “use a better magazine” (Wilson combat, Ed brown, chip mccormack) instead of a kimber mag! Btw, I started playing airsoft at 47yrs old. My nephew got me (and my 51 year old wife) to play at an indoor arena. Cheaper, more exercise, and you can shoot people. :). I still shoot precision rifle, reload ammo, and teach handgun classes, but I just dropped $700 to get set up for my second of many airsoft weekends to come. Thanks Dutch for all the inspiring vids.

Not really.. those are the ones just sitting in the hopup chamber. Imagine pushing bbs through a small straw into your mouth. Without tiny fingers to shove the last ones through, there’s nothing to feed them in. There’s hopup chambers out there that hold the last bbs in, but then you gotta turn the gun upside down, and let gravity feed the bbs in while shooting. Dangerous if you ask me, since it’s not straightforward knowing if your chamber is empty. Bbs are cheap, so it’s a non-issue I suppose.

There is an option. I have rigged my airsoft replica with a hopup that has a locking mechanism and holds the bbs after removing the filler. 80 eur in Bulgaria.
