The holo shadows are made with Acrylates Copolymer which is a type of microplastic! So in USA that's not considered eye safe. If the only concern is a gritty feeling, these feel super smooth though. I definitely recommend using a glitter glue with these to get full opacity, but in a thin layer to avoid creasing. They're so creamy!

@@Itsunclegabby I'm not sure about those facts, but microplastics generally is very bad for the environment! That's why I try to avoid them. I'm not too scared about them getting in the eye, but I know a lot of people are mostly worried about that.

I think it would be good to ask the brand, what I’m seeing on google is that acrylates copolymer is used to thicken products and used in mascaras and a lot of other cosmetics to fact as a binder and stabilizer.

It is a microplastic, and it is true that it is used to thicken stuff for example liquid laundry detergent, it is still microplastic

It's so nice to have a brand that seems to have quite interesting sparkly shades in their range that is in EU. I love my indie singles dearly, but customs and shipping for them are ridicolously high at times. It's obviously not the fault of the businesses, but still.

Agreed. I do not order from Indies in the USA or Canada for that reason. Also I find the prices for Clionadh shadows somewhat insane, sorry not sorry for saying that. I'm actually Canadian but live in the UK so much easier for me to buy from European or UK indie brands! And I loooove Glamshop.

I have 12 singles and 2 palettes from Glamshop and the shimmers are stunning. I have hooded eyes, but they wear really well with a primer. Some do have a flaky texture, but they build nicely. I also don't order Indie from US, because shipping, customs and prices are really high.

Glam Shop turbo pigments are so good. Also, if you love blues I recommend their 9 pan blue palette and I LOVE their blue single eyeshadow “Rio”. Stunning

Just this morning I've purchased two of the holo eyeshadows! I've been buying from them for a long time now, they're vegan, cruelty free, and produced in Poland. I wish someone would compare the nine pan palettes from Glamshop to Colourpop!

@@inezdecastro17 I almost bought the yellow one, cytrynada. So beautiful! If you're buying from polish retailer, Colourpop is more expensive than Glamshop, so I prefer to support polish indie brand, but I'm curious if they're could be dupes.

@@sevothtartesama18 Depends on eyeshadow's type. Multichromes - there is talc in them. INCI and formulation ingredients are actually listed in English in products' descrption on Glam Shop's website.

Right? Whenever I hear anyone mentioning holding onto a product for more than a day w/ out even swatching I’m genuinely baffled!!!😂 The only time I’ve managed to hold off was when a package came whilst I had a 103° fever, just before I was admitted to ICU w/ septic shock. Little tidbit for curious minds - translation of names of the pigments used! :) 1. Moon Dust 2. Turbo Candyfloss 3. Ficus 4. Chlorophyll 5. "Bajer" means something extra, a frill, a gimmick, something meant to dazzle and amaze you, "bajerować" is a verb meaning "to sweet talk" :D It's not necessary negative in perception. 6. Nude just like in english. 7. Effect. 8. Golden Holo. 9. Holo served warm.

I bought one, thanks to you Angie! XD The website is a NIGHTMARE to use because even with Google translate I don't get what it says, but I got a turbo eyeshadow in green (still have to try it) and the classic silver Holo eyeshadow. It's so good!!!! I used it on top of black eyeshadows and it looked so amazing! And I usually hate pressed glitters (I have sensitive eyes and do not use super sticky primers/eyeshadow bases), I had no fallout... but I admit that when I removed my makeup I did use some scotch tape to catch the holo from my eyelids, just in case XDDD Also I'm astounded by how cheap and fast the shipping to Italy was. We need to get more makeup from East Europe, their stuff is good! 0.o

I have heard that Bernovich and Glam Shop have dupes. I prefer Glam Shop because they have a wider range of colours and products.

MartesMakeup has a video on some Glamshop and Bernovich dupes, and I think doseoflolade has a comparison post on insta, also badtothebrow showed some comparable shades on her insta story and might compare them on KZfaq? I have some Glamshop and I think I already own their version of all the shades I like on Bernovich's site 😂

@@lydiam9104 To be honest I have 11 eyeshadows in my GlamShop wishlist and the rest of them look like muddy, too standard for my tasting. I am not sure if I will finally spend my money in this brand. I haven't bought any Clionadh or TerraMoons yet and I think that I should save my money for those ones, the best ones in my opinion 🤔🙂.

I am here for new European indie brands🤗 I am Italian and, in addition to Nabla and We Makeup, there are two indie brands that come to mind: Neve Cosmetics and Mulac. Neve has the most amazing lipliners and their single shadows are also really good. Mulac has amazing highlighters 😊

I was torn between Glamshop, Glaminatrix and Tammy Tanuka. Ended up with Tammy Tanuka. I shopped on their website, which is probably the least user friendly compared to the other 2 brands. Site is in Russian and does offer an English version. However the navigation of the site, specifically the way they categorize their enormous range of shadows with various finishes/colour range makes it almost impossible to find anything. My order was shipped earlier today, can't wait to get my hands on it!

The camera doesn't do these shadows justice... they're so sparkly in person ^_^ I think you'd love the green Glamshop palette, 'W Zielone' - there are more yellow-toned greens and khakis than in other monochromatic green palettes.

I am so late for this video, but super excited that I could see you trying indie brand from my country! I have mature lids and I did not purchase any holographic shadows (I own though turbopigments and I love them). I heard from Polish influencers that they can look a little bit worse on mature lid. But since they look fab on you, you probably do not have as mature lids as you claim💛💛💛

Hi fellow europeans! I ordered a bunch of glam shop eyeshadows ( all the multichromes, the holos, the turbos and the totalny mat2 palette) and I have to say I am very impressed with the quality; also very pleased with the pricing, shipping, no customs and the shadows were all very securely packed. Angelica, I’d love to discover new european indie brands, have you tried Martine cosmetics (Belgium) or 1944 (France) and Karla cosmetics (UK)?

I'm in love with Glamshop shadows, specially the turbo pigments. I have one of the multichromes but I wasn't a big fan because it's not that shifty, but apart from that the formula seems really good. I got into Glamshop due to Martesmakeup as well :D It was really nice to see a video about Glamshop from you too :)

Angie, I got your palette a couple days ago and it's so beautiful!!! I didnt see anyone mention this but I almost lost my shit with excitement when I saw the little door on the opening on the side of the unit carton! Such a tiny detail that most people would probably miss but I think it's so cool that I've been showing all my friends because it's such good design! I've been having some eye allergy issues so I haven't been able to put the palette on yet, but I keep it on my desk so that i can open it and stare at it throughout the day 😍 So glad I got my hands on this palette, thank you for creating something so beautiful that brings me so much joy! 💖

I just wanted to add that if you have the Chrome browser on your phone or laptop, it might translate for you. I’m not 100% sure, but it might be worth a try. I’m in Canada but I can’t wait to try these holo shadows out and to see more of Marte’s videos about them. (See her info in other comments). This was good fun to watch Angie! 😄💗💐

I'm always excited for single shadow content so I clicked immediately, and then MYYYY GOODNESS! When you did a close up of that first purple holographic one I literally GASPED!!! Those are so beautiful and unique it took my breath away!! 😮🤯😍 Indie brands are seriously where it's at when it comes to eyeshadow. These are so incredibly gorgeous! When my no buy ends at the end of the year, I will definitely be trying out this brand. Absolutely beautiful! I would love to see you feature more from them. 👌🏻💜💙💚

If anyone wants a holographic shadow they are made with a fine holo glitter which come in tons of different shades on ebay none are eyesafe so its up to you. all you have to do is get your favorite shadow use the pan its in or scrape some in a different pan then put in the holo in the pan put a touch of rubbing alcohol in it mix it up with a toothpick then let dry. If it doesnt hold well redo with 2 drops of coconut oil in mix. Its super easy. I make eyeshadows all the time i love making shadows.

As a fellow polish makeup lover... the shimmers from Glamshop are the best hands down. I compared them to all of the luxury brands and nothing compares. Their matts are very dry and pigmented so its not what I personally like but i recomend trying anything from glamshop ;). If you need help with translation or recomendations (I own majority of the turbo pigments) hit me up :) oh and the turbo pigments are not that sheer on the eye, its more like on the finger.

I would really appreciate a sigil by tammy tanuka review, both in the loose pigments and their pressed powders, especially focussing on how to work with loose pigments to create a look...never worked with loose pigments so a bit scary...but they look so pretty😍

Glam Shop is amazing with incredibly fast shipping!! I’ve already received two orders I placed with then since they opened up shipping to the US on Jan 15th. (And might have placed another one yesterday.) Their shadows are stunning!!! I’ve tried a lot of the turbo pigments, matte & holo shadows and they all are really beautiful.

Hey, after you showed them first time I ran to buy like 14 shades, it took me hours to choose, but they had winter sale so I saved a lot. I was just so excited that I can get single eyeshadows that are that sparkly in EU! Its a coincidence that I ordered 9 more colors just hours ago before you uploaded this video. And they have Valentine sale now on their site until 14th! Cant wait to play with them next week. And for sure order more, I would love to see you swatching them and using in the future :)

I don't really like working with glitter glue, so I always use my Turbo pigments by putting down a sheer layer with a wet brush and then using my finger to put some more shadow on where I want more opacity. :)

These look so amazing, definetly going to give a try myself too (already have my eye on some of the purple and blue shades, have to dig deeper whether or not there are some interesting green or red ones) and the pricepoint is nice also. Just came back from their site from a quick look and I fell in love with this Turbo Glow: TURBO FUKSJA and it's colourfamily (it's nice that they show similar or complimenting shades with the one you're looking, because that helps a lot with finding the right tone or colourfamily and just adds the need to have them all - in a good way). Omg, Angie, have you seen their pre-made palette called GlamBOX - RÓŻNE RÓŻE (Different roses)? It is utterly beautiful! And the Burgundy palette is magnificent also! Thank you for introducing me to this brand, am always happy to expand my knowledge of awesome indie brands and their fantastic products.

I think Karla is a British brand. Spanish indie ones as far I remember are Krash Cosmetics, Corazona Beauty, ,Etnia Cosmetics and Saigu Cosmetics. I really hope Angie will try the first ones, as they are in more the "colour side", as the last two focus more in natural make up.

I'm a bit surprised that You've ordered so uncolored shades. Glam shop makes very colorful shadows and palettes. Shadows have very funny names, it's a pity rather impossible to translate. glam shop is creative, constantly improving and changing formulas. Hania, the founder, is also a KZfaqr and makes many colabs with KZfaqrs, one of them was... herself. You can see that creating these cosmetics is her true passion.

I agree,I think Angie still has a lot to discover from Glamshop,there are shades (and also small palettes;) that are more fun and colourful ^^ As for the translation of the names,I am a translator myself and I must say Glamshop names are a challenge :p Hania (the owner) plays with Polish without any limitations so translating her creativity into English is definitely a hard task!

This was a fun video! My boyfriend is from Poland and if I had him watch this, he'd be able to tell me what the word is for each shadow. Honestly, Polish is so hard to speak. He's tried teaching me, but I haven't been able to grasp it. I think it's considered one of the hardest languages to learn in the world.

Oooh. That green holographic though. Ooh. 😍💚 I understand that getting the holographic glitters to lie flat on the skin is a difficult part of making an eyeshadow that includes them.

Thank you,Angie!I've been waiting impatiently for this video!I'm glad you've liked what you've got but trust me Glamshop has many more exciting shades :p from my modest turbopigments collection I would recommend Zorza, Bella and the ultrapearl Bora Bora (ultrapearls are supposed to be less impactful than turbopigments but I don't really see that much of a difference;) I also think you could dip into the 9-pan palettes: Niebieski 2020 (the blue one), w Zielone (the green one), Paprika (the red one),maybe Morelove (the "apricot" one-pink,peach and orange; but this one doesn't go too deep),maybe Laguna (turquoise & orangy/pinkish),maybe Fiolety (the purples) and for sure the latest 9-pans: Różne Róże (hot pinks), Burgund, Cytrynada (the lemonade palette ^^) or Klementynka (the tangerine palette). I personally find it hard to maintain my no-buy looking at the latter :p It would be nice to see you try some more Glamshop :) Have a lovely evening :)
