3:43 is a wapon in Chinese board game 三国杀/Legends of the Three Kingdoms, and it allows the player to attack as many times as they want if they have the 杀/attack card in hand(normally only once per player per turn). The last four 2 pokers are the rule in Chinese poker game 斗地主, where any set of cards of 4 in same number would become a boomb that can react to any card set your opponent play. They cannot react to your boomb unless they have a boomb and the number is greater than yours.

This may sound cringe, but it’s better than having real people trying to replicate exaggerated expressions. The key is to use live action to try reduce the cost of production, while still delivering similarly flavoured “anime” experience through the combination of the best of both mediums.
