Only if her DNA is on the victim/the crime scene or if the victims DNA or an item from the crime scene is found in the clown costume. You can't convict people based on "likely events", even if it makes sense. You have to have bulletproof evidence coz otherwise you'll lock away or execute an innocent person while allowing the actual criminal to round around free

It made me sad too. I think it's because she's understandably upset that a woman was shot, wearing a clown costume from her store. She prob feels guilty, and thought "if only we refused the sale, and just proceeded closing up the shop. This may not have happened".

If I were her, I would probably cried too because someone used the stuff you sell to commit a crime and based on her reaction, she seems passionate about her business and about clowns too. I would definitely cry if someone used my own business and passion to commit a crime.

There was actually a case where they found the killer thanks to chewing gum found on the cupboard he had hidden the body in. He had used chewing gum to keep the lock on the cupboard closed. Mind you he had evaded capture for 35 years. Probably thought he would get away with it too.

UPDATE: The death penalty was taken off the table. The trial starts in September 2021. She’s still in jail I believe.

I'm sure that he was well aware about her obsession with clowns, he knew that she wasn't afraid of them, and she would have no problem opening the door. Not true, there have been cases when the husband didn't do the murder even if the wife felt scared of him and warned friends. You can be an abusive asshole, and not be a murderer. You can be a murderer, but be the ideal father/mother/husband/wife. In fact, most serial killers blend in so ideally that people are genuinely shocked when they are caught because they appear as model citizens and saints even to their spouse and children.

So it sells a variety of costumes, not just clown outfits, for people going to costume parties or for entertaining at events etc. I imagine what drives them is maybe a love of fun? Or maybe it was just an open niche they saw in the market of their local area and it was a more financial decision.

Random fun fact. In Norway its illegal to dress up as a clown for halloween after all the killer clowns scaring the crap out of people a few years ago. If you are spotted in a killer clown costume, you will get arrested.

ye, the reason most people are scared of clowns is because when you look at a clown, you have no idea what they are thinking or feeling and that makes them scary. Normally with people you can see their faces and tell what they are thinking or feeling be it happy or sad or malicious etc.

I’d like to know what happened to her son. His dad ruined his entire life. I just couldn’t imagine losing your mom to murder then knowing everyone thinks your dad was somehow involved then if that’s not bad enough he goes and MARRIES the main suspect??? Like wtf! He has the reflectant vest and waist management beenie and he has a little garbage truck he can get it that has straps over his shoulders that looks like he's driving a garbage truck lol its adorable! He loves garbage trucks if you didn't realize lol. Him and our garbage man are friends and he brings my son goodies almost every week!
