The 1998 UEFA Champions League Final was a football match that took place at the Amsterdam Arena in Amsterdam, on 20 May 1998 to determine the winner of the 1997-98 UEFA Champions League. It pitted Real Madrid of Spain and Juventus of Italy. Juventus appeared in their third consecutive final, while Real Madrid were in their first of the Champions League era. Real Madrid won 1-0, the only goal scored by Predrag Mijatović, to clinch their seventh European title, their first for 32 years. The two teams faced each other in the final again in 2017 in Cardiff; Real Madrid won 4-1.

Sólo Egar Davids fue violento, con alguna entrada sin sentido. El resto del partido no tuvo incidentes, fue un partido duro, de poder a poder, y con ritmo muy alto. No sé que final recuerdas para que te pareciera tan violenta

Plus, there was a penalty on Pedja. Those yellow cards on Karenbeu and Hierro were absurd. They first touched the ball. We have currently bad referees, back then those Europa Cup refs were a nightmare.

Mijatovic was in off-side, the linesman was out of position because the ball came back unexpectedly to the box. I was sitting there in the Arena perfectly in line with the offside position of Mijatovic, Nevertheless, it was a nice game on both sides.

E il tocco del difensore è chiaramente involontario (nel senso che non è un passaggio indietro voluto). Fosse stato invece un passaggio indietro, fatto volontariamente, non sarebbe fuorigioco.

Devo dire che il Real Madrid in questa finale e stato molto falloso , e la Juve si lamenti piuttosto di aver sbagliato almeno 3 gol , si percepiva che la Juve era superiore ma a sbagliato troppo sottoporta , comunque mijatovic era in fuorigioco lo devo dire 😂

@@makarov3044 viendo este video es obvio que cualquiera piense que lo habilita el rebote, pero los que vimos ese partido nos dimos cuenta que apenas patea Roberto Carlos, Mijatovic ya estaba adelantado, es ahí donde sucede el off side. Hasta hay artículos de Marca donde acepta que es off side. Este junto al Barcelona - Chelsea, Real Madrid vs Atletico de Madrid (en dos ocasiones), Real Madrid vs Bayern Múnich, Real Madrid vs Juventus (del 2018) fueron los robos mas grandes que vi en la historia del futbol.
