Real signed him and then didn't let him flourish. What was the point of signing him and ruining his otherwise beautiful career? He was still a beast in the first season and then he got injured, but he did made comebacks. Even after back to back brilliant performances he was not picked in the starting 11. They should have let him go or Kaka himself should have left seeing the disrespect he was shown at Madrid and specially by Mourinho. He was goddamn better player than Ozil and Di Maria even at that age and glimpses were seen in the performances and the few minutes he got to play. It's a shame how they made him sit and sit and eventually we saw a decline of Kaka. Some people say he was injured, ofcourse players do get injured and unfortunately he did get injured a few more times than others, but that doesn't take away the fact that he was still Ricardo Kaka who still had pace and vision even at that age while he was at Madrid. It was a disappointment, we could have seen a lot more from the legendary Brazilian.
