Kylian Mbappé was in fine form against a Real Sociedad side that is struggling to find any semblance of form these days. Mbappé scored a brace in PSG’s 2 - 1 victory over Real Sociedad, as he had plenty of defenders on strings, exhibiting his world class qualities once again in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid were whistled off of the pitch at half time as they struggled to find rhythm against RB Leipzig. If it wasn’t for Lois Openda misfiring, or if Dani Elmo’s strike hadn’t bounced off of the bar, there would have been plenty of questions surrounding the form of this Real Madrid team. All the same, they move on!

Vinicious should have gotten two yellows in a span of 5 seconds, Real was as always saved by individual quality instead of team play. Too bad Leipzig couldn't put the ball in the net with all the chances in both games.

Coz they were that good early on. Unfortunately if you watch la liga you'll know every year Real Sociedad has a second half season syndrome where they always tail off. There's actually a running joke that first half of the season they are always title challengers and hanging around the top 4 spots then in the second half of the season they drop off so badly that they either barely make the top 4 or they completely fall out of Europe completely. I think they gotta find a way to start balancing their squad especially their forwards who usually end up injured or misfiring, coz they can't be shooting themselves in the foot every year

Uefa has to be called out for picking refs that are scared to make the correct descisions on the pitch. In the first game, Leipizg wasn't given their goal. Now Vini Jr. didn't get the most obvious red card. UEFA has to start picking refs that have the mental toughness to make the right calls no matter the team. Not to mention: Why the fuck to we have VAR when it clearly doesn't work.

It's a shame that Leipzig got robbed at Bernabeu. No miracles for them, just as Ajax did 5 years earlier by winning 4-1. The 1st leg at home had a disallowed goal, and now Vini was so lucky to not join Bellingham after getting the red card. I really hate Madrid so much because this club only won the Champions League by relying on VAR decisions! That's why I'm hoping Madrid will face Bayern in the quarterfinal.

I was speaking about the future (next season) without Mbappé, since this game was wrapped in the last leg as I said a few weeks ago. Where did I say Sociedad would smoke PSG btw? In the preview? Because I didn't, I just said "ah screw it, I'll go for Sociedad because why not?" Not a lot of belief in the words, go watch again. I think you're being a bit sensitive.

@@RabonaTV you’re right I wasn’t only talking about your point tho it was more of a generalization due to many channels having a similar stance to yours, most said Sociedad play better football and will run us off the park. You weren’t as firm with your stance about that so I take it back, but most times when people speak on PSG it’s in a negative light, I believe there were many more take aways from this game than just mbappe (although he was obviously very good) this was a team win with many players playing well over the two legs. Just thought the overall sentiment was kinda low effort since I think highly of your opinions
