I originally did not plan on making a pinned comment here but considering some comments, I've decided to make things clear: 1. I know that the accidents are fake and that they are not actually getting hurt (I feel kind of stupid stating this but sadly it seems I have to say this) 2. The show stands on pretending that the accidents are real. Some of the errors I point out are the ones where we can see how they did it (like the weight on the foot or the hand holding the fireplace) and that it is just an illusion 3. This video is not meant to hate on Mischief or the show. This video is actually a result of me loving the show and watching it way too many times.

This is why "Goes Wrong" is such a genius premise. It appeals to our inherent Schadenfreude, and any genuine mistakes just become part of the show!

The best part is that you can't even tell which mistakes are staged and which ones aren't, because the whole premise is that the show goes wrong. The gun breaking in The Lodge could've easily been part of the script, and I'd never have known the difference.

I think the true beauty of the gun falling apart was that it felt like the obvious next step up to highten the joke after losing the ramrod in the barrel. And the way the actors just rolled with it shows they've got improv skills (though ofc you can see Dennis's actor trying not to lose it laughing in the background 😂)

That gun bit is brilliant. It fit in so well with the scene that I thought it was written in at first!

You can tell these guys came from doing improv comedy. They're able to roll with real mistakes and make them feel like they were intended. These guys are great! 3:00 is just briliant!

a lot of the continuity errors come from them cutting together a separate takes. especially in 90 degrees, where they used a lot of prerecorded takes due to how difficult the skit is to perform

Renee missing the catch that many times made it hilarious in my opinion 😂😂😂 I thought for sure they were gonna run out of beers and then the guy catching it right away after made it even better!!

We went to see Magic Goes Wrong and there was a big mistake half way through. Everyone thought it was part of the show but they came out and did some improve and audience participants till it was sorted . Happened twice . It was hilarious and made the show extra special

i personally don't count continuity errors or little things like the weight not actually being on his foot as "going wrong" - that's just how TV and theatre are, and they aren't mistakes so much as they are byproducts of the medium. the actors are real champs for rolling with actually unscripted errors tho

It’s really interesting to see real mistakes and how they roll with it. The bit with the gun in the Lodge always has me in stitches and to learn part of it was Henry having to roll with a prop breaking makes it even better!

I worked with a “Renee” this last year and every time I said her name I thought back to Annie screaming it over and over

It's never been said by any of the cast members, but it's pretty clear that the part where the bosoms pop out of Nancy's blouse was also a mistake that just happened during filming. That's why "There go my bosoms" sounds so ADR'd in, cause they obviously didn't plan on that gag in the script and were FORCED to address it cause they had no other shot.

Never had the phrase "The show must go on. .." have greater meaning than when Mischief theatre took off...

I've watched both series so many times, and there are still bits that I miss.

it truly is a brilliant premise when the actors are all excellent at improv. the audience expects there to be mistakes (by which I mean the scripted ones- the things that go wrong as intended), so anything that goes wrong unintentionally just reads as part of the deliberate mistakes as long as the actors can roll with it, which they all can do incredibly well

How it ever goes right is almost a miracle. That's craft, talent and probably a lot of 'Don't laugh!'.

Can we talk about how Charlie almost gets nailed by a can and plays it off so calmly at 4:29?

2:05 That's not a mistake, obviously they didn't want to actually drop a weight on his foot. That scene works on the same premise as slight of hand - you can get away with a lot by just playing with the audience's expectations.

The cast should react to this.

just realised (after umpteenth rewatching). There was that bit in The Nativity when the bowling ball representing Sandra's baby bump was meant to drop on Chris' foot and ankle, but it clearly never touched him.

I thought The Goes Wrong Show Series is suppose to be about things always goes wrong on purpose without mistakes but I never notice the cast made some mistakes in each scenes.

This series over exemplifies the mantra "The show must go on . . . no matter what or who gets "killed"! LOL.
