Happy birthday!! And I hope George is feeling better. I personally get most of my son's clothes from Zara and H&M with the odd Asda thrown in! The quality is fab, they wash really well and because they look genuinely good oversized they last forever! I do get all his nursery stuff from Primark though!

Ah calamine lotion. My mum still loves to tell the story of when I had chicken pox when I was little. I tipped the whole bottle over my little brothers head, obviously to stop him suffering the same fate. 🤣

Awwww bless George, it’s no fun for the little ones getting child illnesses, my little grandson went down with chicken pox yesterday, he is the last one in his nursery to get it, it’s seems pretty rife at the moment. Hope George feels better soon. Hope you’ve had a wonderful birthday 🥰💗🐻xxx

Poor George! Have you tried an oat milk bath before? Just put some oats in a sock and let him play with the sock in the bath. It makes the water milky and really is the best moisturiser. The more they play with it the better. Should help with the scabbing in next few days. Hope he is ok - and you look like you survived too lol.

A word of advice from someone who used to work at a nursery. On nursery photo day, please, please, please don't send George into nursery in the clothes you want him to wear for his photos. Put the nice clothes in his bag and the nursery staff can change him before they go for photos. There is nothing worse for the nursery workers than having to try to keep the children looking nice until their photos as even on photo day we still had to provide messy and wet play. 🙈🙈

Happy birthday! Hope you're okay after the whirli news- I'm assuming you'll be on some sort of contract with them for advertising them so hope you're not finding yourself put of pocket for your work. I also know how much you genuinely loved them too- must be so disappointing.
