Thank you for doing this!! I got duped and bought a knock-off, off of amazon. Holes are huge, and very brittle plastic. Both are being returned, and the real feeders have already been purchased.

The real is built so much better. You make a great choice! Glad my video was helpful. Hope you get lots of birds! Hummingbird migration in my area this spring was disappointing…but I am optimistic fall with be awesome! All the best to you…

Man, i wish i found you a couple months ago. Ordered my mom some feeders for mothers day through what i thought was a reputable paypal vendor. I just finally got it and its a total piece of crap, doesnt even have an ant moat. I will however be buying a legit one and hopefully getting a refund for the useless joke i previously bought. I love the design of the legit one

When you get the real one from www.thehummingbirdfeeder.com that’s the first thing you will notice is the quality of the real one versus the China fakes. The real one is much thicker and overall attention to detail is top notch. It feels like it was last forever - because it will. This China ones are total junk in comparison ! 😔 Glad my video helped. Let me know how you like the real one when you get it. We had a terrible hummingbird migration this year for some reason….but I will be ready and waiting for them come fall. 👍

I hadn't seen the made in USA one, but the one I ordered off Amazon didn't have a real ant moat in the base and yes, it had huge holes. So rain would go into the nectar too. I posted a video review to tell people not to buy it. Maybe now I will get the real one, but I have seven glass ones already.

@@WalkingbytheSpiritAlways if you ever get the real one in your hands you will see even more how junky the fake ones are.

This has all multiple ports..but the holes are big. It's going to get swamped with bees and birds. The one I got looks just like this but comes from china! Another copy?

If it comes from China - it’s a copy. Now I will say some copies are better than others - so you might have gotten one that’s functional as a hummingbird feeder - but it’s not the real Lil Sweety Hummingbird feeder. All the videos on my channel showing the birds using one of these feeders are feeders from www.thehummingbirdfeeder.com That site sells the real thing that’s heavier duty and Made In The USA. I would only order from them. The Chinese sellers have stolen videos from my channel and are using them to sell their copy products (because their copy looks so similar).

I report the sellers of the fakes all the time on Facebook. They do nothing.
@BKsWildlifeWorld9 күн бұрын
@@acertainshape You are right. And more and more fake sellers show up on Amazon everyday. They are all selling the same fake just under a different company name. If it were me and someone wanted this feeder my advice would be to only order from www.thehummingbirdfeeder.com

The one my wife just bought me from a fake link after watching a video about the real deal doesn't even have an ant moat. Totally useless! The top center part is just open right down into the nectar reservoir. Insects could do synchronized swimming in the thing!

Those China fakes are the worst!! Sorry to hear that happened to you. Very frustrating. 😔

I had the same problem and posted a negative video review on Amazon. It had huge holes as well.

By knock off copies do you mean not the same material, copied design? I see a lot of products in the US that are copies of products sold outside the US. I have a daughter who has lived outside the US 25+ years. If the US company has it copyright protected they can deal with the issue via Amazon. Lots of counterfeit products in the US, because people buy them. If it is not then it is just an example of capitalism. Other countries are able to import/sell in the US because of trade agreements and US companies are now able to easily sell/ship to other countries. To deal with bees use less nectar or silicone bee caps.

The real original is Made In The USA. I got mine from www.thehummingbirdfeeder.com They sell the real original feeder. As I used their feeder I posted videos of it and the birds using it on my KZfaq channel. Basically Chinese company copied (stole) the videos and use them on their fake sites to sell copies of this original feeder. Their copies are terrible, the quality it terrible - and they are nothing near to the original USA version. But they are trucking people by using my videos showing the real USA feeder…and making potential buyers think it’s the feeder they are selling when in actuality it is not. Basically stealing videos of someone else’s product to use to sell your “copied” cheaper version of a similar looking product. They are capitalizing on customers who don’t research what they are buying, and customers who don’t realize the videos they are showing of the product are stolen videos of someone else’s products.

I am currently in the process of trying to get a refund on the cheap facsimile that I received, after thinking I had the item shown in both the video and photos on the company website. Thought I was being safe by going to the companies website and not the link shown on the ad or buying from Amazon. Well, I got duped, because the company website is bogus, promoting a bait-and-switch. I am shocked someone can get away with stealing videos, videos, and photos of an item and then producing a cheap fascimile as the real thing. I thought I was doing the right thing by going to website. I looked at all the photos for the features and the video explained the same. The product I received was all plastic, had no ant moat, no instructions printed on the bottom that said the recipe or made in America, and no dividers for the sugar in the water. The company reports to offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so that is why I’m going through the trouble of getting my money back. Thank goodness I used PayPal. We will see what happens. I’m still angry about this because I am an intelligent, savvy shopper.
