Who else thought I looked too low on short final? 👀 Not used to these graphics yet!! Gonna need to play more! 🤓 EDIT: To everyone commenting & asking if I'm left handed or why I 'reversed' the joystick/throttle: I MESSED UP ahahaha. I just 'flew' how I am used to flying in the real plane so I used the joystick in my left hand and throttle in my right!! But I will absolutely give the other way a shot! Thanks for that, great to see a young pilot really enjoying herself on the Simulator. I am almost 70 years old and have been flying simulators since my forties when they began. Over the years people wonder why I play this game as they call it, being disabled I have managed to teach myself the systems of the cessnas up to the private jets which I love the best. When this Simulation by Microsft jumped this far forward I was astonished. I am able to fly both business jets using all startup, in flight and landinģ procedures through FMC and ILS due to FSX and XPlanes. I smile when young and middle aged simmers who spend more time looking out the window are totally lost by not learning the best part which is instrument and situation awareness control of these aircraft. To see a real pilot enjoying the experience is heartwarming, keep smiling and flying, and stay safe. John (UK).

I'm a mirror of you, John. 71, been flying MS since ~1989, through all the upgrades and I love flying the regional jets. I bring up the Instrument procedures, file flight plans. I planned and flew the CRJ-700 around the world! What an adventure and planning was everything. I used real world environment, had to plan my fuel, etc. I have bought the MSFS2020 and also a brand new mac-daddy made to order PC, just waiting to find the right screen, controls to purchase. I want to be able to have a gaming monitor that I can also use for some business applications like WORD, EXCEL and also to get into Citrix environments. Again, thanks for your comments.Don

The world is based on bing maps, which are very out of date (with many players reporting them to be 5 - 10 years out of date), they're certainly not live and updated in real time (how would that even work?) But they're still good and if you must you can just imagine you're flying 5 years ago.

@@Person01234 Who said they were bing maps? i specifically heard from reviewers that the maps were generated from google?

@@chika4275 It's a microsoft product, and it's well known it's using bing maps, I don't know who told you otherwise.

I just flew out of the eye of the hurricane today. I’ve never had an experience like that while playing a game.

Everyone who tries this game for the first time always says the controls are so sensitive. You can adjust the sensitivity!

@@spy2778 Options > Control > Choose your stick > Sensitivity, lower the sensitivity of Pitch and Roll so it's not linear and set dead zone between 3-5% depending on your preference.

i find it verry slow instead of sensitive, im used to fpv flying,

Awesome stuff. I really enjoyed that and love your reaction to crashing at the end. I tried the Courcheval landing challenge a few months ago, and needless to say I failed miserably. I'm not a pilot in real life though, and probably should never be, based on that. Hahaha! Haven't played the game in a few months but the Nordic update was just released and I'm in the mood to fly again now. I especially want to see how they improved Svalbard.

Microsoft said they will include more aircraft, helicopters included!

That was my question. Does FS do helicopters? I might have to get into this and maybe it would help me with preparing for ATC call proceedures etc. It looks great.
