Maharashtra BJP leadership led by fadnavis failed miserably because of taking corrupt leaders like ashok chavan and ajit pawar who have Ed and CBI cases pending which angered people of Maharashtra instead should have continued with Uddhav Thackeray who knows rural areas of Maharashtra and UP sidelining Yogi for selection of candidates yogi had winning formula which Amit shah and jp nadda didn't listen to yogi abki baar 400 paar almost became india shining campaign of 2004 RSS didn't like that washing machine term for BJP and nadda arrogantly said RSS isn't required because of RSS support only BJP got majority twice and RSS campaign wasn't seen anywhere and punjab BJP should have formed alliance with akalis and in Maharashtra how on earth they can sideline poonam mahajan who has been an incumbent mp and won Mumbai North Central twice that to it in a congress bastion.

BJP in UP particularly Amethi they underestimated kishor lal sharma who was very pragmatic with his approach and knew the constituency for 40 years and smriti Irani should have spoken about her contributions in 5 years and achievements as an union minister for 10 years than always slamming Gandhi family and most of the votes favoured kishor lal sharma who was silent in his work that's why smriti Irani lost badly BJP must speak about current achievements than always speaking about the past.

The reason why BJP lost is because they ignored the antics of the INDI alliance which divided the Hindu vote bank by giving freebies or by scaring them. Most rural people do not care about Viksit Bharat... look how Atal Bihari fell even after India Rising or whatever it was. And that was a long time ago. Most of India is still backwards, in villages and or don't care about development cause for them it's about surviving every day, week, month. So BJP needs to focus on people and Modi needs to understand that now he alone cannot win elections. Thankfully we voted for him and we have safety otherwise see what happened in US... from Trump building a wall to Biden completely opening up the borders. SAVE INDIA, SAVE BHARAT

@@gg89899 this is entirely explained by the fact that the Shahi Imam Modiuddeen's knickers are firmly in Zafar Sareshwala's grip. To avoid being hauled up before the ICJ, NaMo struck a compromise with ZS (in a London hotel, 2003), that he would take no coersive steps against muslims henceforth. So we can not expect islam to be neutered until Shahi Imam Modiuddeen steps aside.

I still don't think these are the "only real reasons". Not just 2019 elections, even 2014 was based on development. The entire slogan "Acche Din Aane Wale Hain" became such as common phrase back then, people wanted a change so badly that it resulted in BJP's landslide victory. In fact, 2014 to 2019, there was no Hindu right wing at all like today. Dhruv Rathee and likes of him have done their best in 2019 elections as well. And still, he has no big impact on elections. There are other behind-the-scene players at work. And there are certainly so many factors that have gone wrong.

BJP lost many seats in UP due to internal party politics and ignoring its own supporters. In Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar should not have been entertained. Last point is giving tickets to imported leaders which antagonized the supporters. That is all.

Gentle men, I am not an expert on poll situations. But as citizen of Bharat, I know one specific patterns of. Bharat suffered for almost 60 years due to muslim appeasement politics. We wanted to be free from such hell. We saw and hoped and believed that Modi is the one who would do it. After 10 years bharat saw Modi doing muslim appeasement politics duly dashing all trust. In last election, 9 percent of BJP core voters stayed away from booth.

The irony of the situation is that in 2019, opposition didn't have any counter narrative and had to only depending on defaming modi and bjp whereby they failed spectacularly. In 2024, the opposition actually found a narrative and bjp just didn't have a counter and once again succumbed to defaming rahul gandhi and congress. Only modi's image and the core hindu vote bank saved bjp from a humiliating defeat, if it wasn't for that, we would have been staring at an indi alliance govt. So, a clear, well communicated narrative is a must, simply defaming your opposition doesn't win you elections.

U still don't have any idea what went wrong. Basically what happened in Karnataka they did the same thing in UP and some other state region. They gave them some perks to the people who are in below poverty line so they can only Vote for I.N.D.I Alliance, for example that's why they won in Amethi without Rahul visiting there for once in 5 years. They wanted to take the revenge of Rahul lost that's why Modi won by only 1.5 lakhs votes. When I.N.D.I Alliance distributing the perks the BJP Workers were sleeping. The people who are in below poverty line will not come out because they already got the perks. That's why every financially middle class people Vote matters because BPL people will be influenced easily by some perks and the rich people are already Liberals.

BJP had Talwar, Tarazoo and Tilak as its vote bank. But not OBC or Dalit. The latter were fully exploited by the opposition when they claimed that BJP was going to eliminate reservation. and amend the constitution. That worked very well. One word for BJP's loss is over confidence, and we will amend the constitution. Regardless of what they may talk in public, muslims all over India have the same pre 1947 mentality, and think they are in danger.Danger of a Hindu Hegemony and Hindutva rule. And along with OBC votes and muslim votes, Opposition cut BJP to size. BJP must be careful in the future about what it says.

This may have been a small reason but not a significant one. One reason which no one talks about is poor performance of BJP legislatures and concerned Executives in their local areas. For whataboutery sake one can say that Indi alliance did worse but for a party that wanted to be re-elected for development, this is not acceptable. While Central & State schemes are running but local leaders continue to feed only on those schemes. They themselves have become pseudo Congress leaders of 70s This is unacceptable. They barely bring up local issues in Parliament & Assemblies. Corruption is still equally rampant and no step seems to be taken to curb it. Any party which wants to get re-elected for development has to tackle these problems head on which BJP is not doing Hathras stampede & post actions is a live example (while ardent BJP supporters will disagree)

We must realise that, we as a nation are failed nation. In the name of caste, state, language and religion, its very easy to divide us. We are people with bhikari mindset that we just cant understand the importance of development and looking at this country as our own responsibility, we only try to exploit. We have reservations which dont allow eligible person to serve the country so he will leave it whenever he gets enough money and those who stay will have to carry the burden of such freebies and for that he dont get anything. This year election and its results proves that we are people with most bhikari mindset people and we will never be as good as china, US, Japan, Germany and other countries unless we stop glorifying ambedkar and change the constitution for better system and future.

BJP doesn't protect its booth workers. BJP is building homes in Rampur and seeking votes in Ayodhya. BJP is completely out-of-sync. only 2-3% swing voters can change the outcome of election in many seats. Congress's campaign didn't have any impact on BJP's vote share. In fact, Congress's campaign barely prevented core Congressi voters from switiching to BJP's side. Congress's campaign was done mostly in Hindi. So in places like Odisha and Andhra, where the people don't understand Hindi speeches of Rahul Gandhi, core Congressi voters switched their votes to BJP. Otherwise even in distant imaginations, there was no prospect of BJP either in Andhra or in Odisha.

Bharti’s class have highjacked the BJP and as such BJP will now lose and keep losing! What happened in Ayodhya is a case in point!
