So, some would trade freely in a secondary market (stock market, for example) but the controlling shares would only be traded among socios. He wants to crystallize the monetary value of the club but ensure the club never ends up in any external hands. He is clearly thinking about his legacy now.

As I understand, the club's voting rights would remain 100% controlled by socios. But the economic rights would trade "pari passu " as per whatever split is determined (I assume 50.1% and 49.9%). This is similar to preferred shares versus common stock in normal equity markets. But there is a way to sell half the economic value, let it trade freely, have it "mark to market" the value of all shares, with restrictions on the trading of controlling shares. This creates a natural discount between non-controlling shares and other shares, but they would both trade directionally based on the fundamentals of the club. This is a long-winded explanation to say yes, socios will control the club, but its value can be traded according to the performance of the club. But yes, we would never do this if there were any chance of losing control. Pardon the financial jargon.

I think we need to be patient. Ancelotti has done it right in my view. He needs to develop physically both to ensure his knee is strong and to cope with the treatment that he will inevitably get from the likes of the Raillos and the Duartes in Spain. Compare with Vini, who is a physical specimen - could Arda take that kind of treatment while recovering from meniscus damage?

I think loaning him to a club like Dortmund or Milan will help him a lot by getting more playing time ,he will also get to experience champions league football.this is crucial for his growth
