Hello friend, how are you?
It’s been quite a rough week for me if I’m being completely honest. I’ve had a few things come up in my personal life and I am in the midst of healing. School has become quite the roller coaster, but I am so grateful for my program and student teaching experience! And I’ve also been trying to give myself some time to reflect and prepare for the end of the year.
It’s been quite the journey and I can’t wait to get back into the groove of filming vlogs and things for you all. I realize that we are about midway in the semester already! Can you believe it? Boy does time fly. Anyway, I hope you find this video helpful and I hope that you are giving yourselves time to enjoy yourselves. I’m excited for the upcoming holiday season!

I try to use the breaks as extra time whenever that happens, and then paused it for 5 minutes to get an *actual* break, hahah

I love how the people creating these city sounds as they drive, engage their sirens and talk in the hallway don't know that they're a value add. They're adding value to our studying by just living their lives. I love that in this way and others, real life has the potential to not just be a study feature but potentially a product and service feature as well. The term "slice-of-life" is coming to life! It's subtle things like this that get me excited about the future. You guys should really check out a16z's episode about the future of audio by the way. Thank you so much for these. I sat through two sessions of these sessions today and I have never been so productive or focused. I got an assignment done that took me about two hours (one of theses sessions) which would usually take me double that and I took a test later (which I spent my left over time with these sessions) studying for and I have never felt so confident with my answers. Thank you so much! Usually, I get distracted really easily but this made studying so much easier, and even made me want to do it more so thank you!

From the beginning, I didn't quite like your no-music thing, but I am ok looking for the music depending on my mood now, or sometimes just quiet and listen to your background noise. I love how you do it REAL TIME, with your CUTE FACE, and LITTLE TALKs. Your face, even in the Time to Grind, still look more relaxed than other similar videos. I try not to go on my phone during the 5 min breaks like you said in one of your other videos. So instead I tidy up my room, but away clothes and make my bed. Productivity on a whole new level!
