Meitei land is 10% where meiteit kuki naga everyone can buy and settle.Meitei used to stay in hillock too but land act passed in 1960's dont allow meitei to settle.Other issue is kuki population increased from 1% in 1902 to 27% in 2012.. amazing

People residing in hills are buying land in valley which comprises 10% of the total land area but people living in valley cannot buy land on hills for survival although they are native of Manipur.

Really?? Then why do so many meitei claim their homes and places of worship were destroyed in kuki areas?? It's because all this was a propaganda spread by meitei.. Had this buying land the reason meitei will fight Nagas not kukis since not a single non-nagas house can set up in Nagas areas bit kuki and Meiteis live and stay together for ages... All this was plain Hatred for kuki and their envy for the kuki land which was topographically good areas...

Meitei allows to settle kuki in meitei areas from long years back, but illegal immigrants kuki from Myanmar continually and number of kuki populations is increasing in abnormal basis. Now they claim meitei area as kuki area because they are more number and major dominated area. Government of India should take action against kuki narco terrorists coming from Myanmar for internal security for India

The area where the meiteis can settle is about 8% only. In this small area kuki and naga people as well as any Indian people can settle as their own. But the Meitei people are not allowed to purchase land in tribal areas e.i.hill area of Manipur.

How the world look at the kuki is different from ground reality. Both kuki and Naga receive only 2pc of the state budget between 2015 to 2021. Both kuki and naga may occupy 80pc of land but the meitei occupy all the fertile plane the productivity of both land are not the same. Look back at all the recruitment result of government jobs in the past few years you will understand. They call us illegal immigrants but the number of illegal meitei immigrants from Bangladesh and myanmar may be higher. The meiteis claim that they are civilise society but why did they want to be included in ST list, the main reason is they want our land.
