You forgot the most important part......... How does it smell!

I bought a bottle of this off of Amazon about 2 months ago, and wondered (1) why it came bubble wrapped, (2) why the c's were able to be scratched off from the cover with my fingernail, and (3) why the smell didn't last longer than 30 minutes. No, Chanel has a plant in France and the US. So if your box says either or your fine.

And not even a word about difference of juices.

Now that we know all about the box and the bottle of the fake product, What about talking about the actual fake cologne!!! Does it smell like the real one?? how does it stick to the skin? Does it last longer? Any allergic reaction to it? And whatnots!

Please, don't confuse people. Don't pay attention to the "made in france" or "made in USA". As a rule, the real ones are made in FRANCE (i live in france and in every chanel official shop you can see the "made in france") but, all of you who live in USA is normal to see the "made in USA" because you got a factory in Piscataway ,new jersey! Chanel is made in France. I got mine from Macy's, it says France as well. The overall description of your USA BDC is completely accurate to the France made BDC. It may be legit, but from what I've heard, the scents are noticeably different.

You were half right eith your claims. Mine is real and has the etching under the barcode and also says made in France and I bought it at Macy's. Chanel has production locations all over the world so many could say made in the USA ,made in France, or even made in Japan for instance.

I just bought a bottle of 3.4oz chanel bleu on ebay from a guy with 100% positive feedback. It came in the box wrapped in plastic and everything, but the bottle was a dead give away it looked incredibly cheap, and it smelled cheap and no matter how much you sprayed on it was completely gone within 5 minutes. Luckily the guy apologized and said he was fucked from the supplier he got it from and gave me a refund immediately. I just spent an extra 30 bucks and bought it off Nordstroms

Another tip, you may notice a slight difference when buying the 3,4fl.oz. version if you had the 1.7fl.oz. version before, the smell on the 3.4fl.oz is a little bit different at the very first sprays, but then it come to the same smell. Not sure why, but it happens (tested on two bottles).

Thanks for this video, it helped me to authenticate my Bleu de Chanel :) Although I'm not sure if the Made in France/Made in USA are a sign of fake or authentic. Mine is just like your authentic but it's Made in France. Probably Chanel produces fragrances in France too.

When I buy Chanel I order from their direct website. Look at the serial number under the bottle and box is very helpful as well.

Chanel has two factories. One in the USA and one in France. :D

Just thought i'd give some input. You make some good points. The lid apparently is a big giveaway. The fakes just aren't making them the same. BUT I must say that you should ignore the Made in France vs. USA.. Legitimate Chanel fragrance can come from either their U.S. factory in New Jersey or from France. Most of the fakes will say France just because people assume Chanel = France.

Great info you're on point with your info. The only thing that I disagree with is the labeling on the bottom of the bottle. I bought one of mine from Nordstrom's and it has made in France on the bottom. The bottom of the bottle has a Chanel Paris and a Chanel New York registered trademark so I am sure the bottles can have either or.

About the bottom saying Made in France: I have an authentic Bleu De Chanel,bough from a big aiport's duty free store,and I can tell you that mine says just that,It does not say Made in the USA :)

Well it's quite easy. I only buy Chanel from Douglas-ICI Paris or Sephora. The first 2 offer from time to time a discount of 20-25%. That's it. Parfum Websites can not offer these with discounts. They only sell the 150 ML bottles.

I usually buy perfumes from eBay if the seller posted a real picture of the perfume itself. Second I check the feedback's and see their negatives scores and check what the comment is about. Most fake sellers have high scores and most buyers usually give them good feedbacks because most of them dont know how to distinguish an authentic one from a good/excellent counterfeit. Authentic sellers don't usually sell a lot of perfumes they either don't like it or given as a gift.

Thank you for the video it is very useful. Just some things to remember: Not all perfumes that you get from Ebay is fake check your seller ratings and information. There are aslo authentic Chanels that are made in France. that shouldn't alarm anyone.

Learned my lesson long ago too on ebay, besides when you go to macys etc, you get to test others, people are nice, you get tons of samples, freebies. For example i bought Acqua di Gio 6oz bottle the big one came with a giant body wash bottle, After shave balm, giant free bag with logo, and tons of samples for 110! I was H A P P Y :) no worrying about counterfeits etc to save a buck. Life is good.

Ebay is only good to get hard to find and discontinued ones. I would NEVER buy a popular one such as 1Million, Le Male, AdG, BdC etc from ebay! WAY too many fakes. And Chanel have a high end niche house type of ultra tight grip on your distribution which is why you never see any of their fragrances on legit online sites such as fragrancenet, fragrancex and a few other ones. The only way to safely buy a Chanel fragrance, which I'm not a fan of, is to hunt for used ones to sell on fragrance forums.

I was sold a counterfeit bottle on ebay and only reason I purchased from the seller was not only because the listing was titled "100% Authentic" but also because the seller had a great 100% EBAY RATING WITH OVER 2,000 transactions thank god for ebay buyer protection !!

I've had such bad experiences buying items on eBay that turn out to be counterfeit, I went through 3 counterfeit Dr. Dre headphones and I constantly see sellers selling "authentic" Louis Vuitton bags and many people are not aware that they're knockoffs. I think everyone needs to be aware of counterfeit items before they go spend hundreds on knockoffs

You forgot to mention the numbers on the back of the bottle or didn't notice it, every real Blue De Channel bottle has a four digit number on the back.

Chanel is a french company so made in USA means nothing ,actually fragrance were made in France by Chanel until they opened another factory in USA and people thought the one made in USA is fake , as long people buy from places that doesn't sell fakes then they are good , eBay is mostly fakes even at the retail price, People need to buy from legit places like Sephora as its authorized seller or you can even buy from Chanel straight they both have multi stores in multi different cities around the world, buy from legit places specially for this famous fragrance. also yes its expensive , also it never drop on price.

Reason why I don't trust Ebay, lol. I went straight to the Chanel retail and buy 1 directly from them.

I've had pretty good luck on Ebay I guess. I did buy a counterfeit Acqua Di Gio tester recently. Everything else I've ever bought was legit. Unfortunately the eBay feedback score is not a good indicator. The fake ADG I bought came from a "power seller" with excellent feedback. He did refund me as soon as I called him out on it. I assume that's why he has a good score. He's prompt to answer complaints. Smell wise the fake ADG smelled nothing like the original. In fact it smelled a but like a Citronella Off Bug candle. The packaging looked very legit though. In my experience if buying on ebay you should stick with fragrances that aren't incredibly popular. I used to say always buy a tester bottle as they don't counterfeit testers (usually). That's obviously not the case anymore...

The ones that were real were all great deals! :) My tips - avoid the top selling & really high end colognes/perfumes because those are most commonly counterfeited. Esp if the price is far below the retail! Also check their feedback! if they have any negative feedback for a knock off don't buy from them!

she compares real vs high copy ,but i think u should compare real vs first copy =cause it's pretty much the same and it's very hard to notice ,that's why i always buy a tester bottle if possible

I just purchased a 1.7oz off of eBay for $32 + $6.99 Shipping. BEFORE seeing your video. I'll check for these counterfeit indicators. I've asked the seller if the cap is magnetic or push-on. Any differences in the scent/notes on the counterfeit?

And lastly which is not always accurate most of these fake sellers base from my experience comes from Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, Maryland, Bulgaria and Israel

Did the eBay seller have very good feedback and sold fragrance regularly? Could you tell by the smell? In your case, it looks like a clear case of fake and fraud. But not all eBay fragrances are fake. Sometimes, if you're very very lucky, eBay is the only place to buy original versions because the actual fragrance house decided to re-formulate. Example, Dior's J'adore currently sold at dept. stores have been reformulated by Dior and do not smell like the originally launched versions (1999).

Bought Gucci Guilty from Amazon once and I swear it was a fake because the bottle looked a little worn for a new product. Complained and was refunded immediately, since then only Sephora or Macys for me!

If you buy from an ebay seller with at least 99% feedback you should be fine. No one wants to ruin great feedback selling fake fragrances.

They Sell Bleu De Chanel At Nordstrom And Macy's And It Says Made In Paris. It's Because The French One Is More Expensive. The One Made In The USA Is Sold At Stores Like Palace, Sephora, And Parfum Because They Are Less Expensive.

My Chanel Bleu EDP had Made in France on both the box and bottle. I ordered mine from Sephora. I've seen "real" bottles on here with Made in USA. So I called around to a couple shops. Chanel is made in France and is only sold through authorized dealers so be really careful my freinds. These scents aren't cheap, don't get ripped off.
