Which shoe did you think was the rep?

Used to be against fakes but with the resell market being so crazy plus the quality of fakes have drastically improved, there’s really no point paying x5 for a shoe.

It’s ok to rock fakes. Everybody is fake nowadays, fake smiles, fake friends, fake body parts (plastic surgery), fake relationships, the list goes on and on, etc.

This was a thorough examination man... VERY well done! You can already see you've got the people here makin business decisions! 🤔🤔🤔

The fact that on any of these fake vs real episodes that it takes that close of scrutiny to determine if it's fake or not and the average person who will wear them and no one will know at a casual glance or even a close glance that you are wearing a rep tells you how good these reps are. I'll buy a pair in a heartbeat.

My StockX verified pair has the cm sticker on both of the insoles of my pair. Usually the cm stickers on the insoles showed up on the rep pairs through YT. Is this something to be concerned about?

I have both and aside from the swoosh being slightly larger and the tongue being more curled they are very close

I noticed a little contour in the heel outside plastic panel where as the rep pair was flat

It was easy to tell for me cause the tongue was tucked in more and the style pf the Nike Zoom was drastically different from the R pair. Both very close but luckily I got them for retail on Friday so don’t gotta worry lol

What a great rep, are these GMK? The small give aways were slightly higher scaling on the side, bigger circle pattern on heel tractions and slightly thicker heel lining on the side. Only reason I could spot this is because ive been looking at copping a rep to hoop in haha. Great vid

Great comparison video! The differences are so minor and nobody could tell if you have them on feet or hooping in them. I hit on SNKRS yesterday and have a pair coming from across the pond for me to compare too. If they are this close I’m wearing the UA and keeping my retail on 🧊

The red on the heel cup and rear side panel has more of a strawberry tinted pinkish color on the Rep while Retail appears to be more of a true consistent Crimson Red sheen in the heel cup area also The tongue on the Rep is Fatter and more rounded than Retail pair.

I'm going to be honest I guessed wrong. This review helped me out alot. I was not able to get them at retail so I will buy a pair of rep. Again, Thanks for your review

Look at the side of it that flap from the heal its more sleek in the real one and over sized in the fake pairs. That's the only indicator for me and the black light you did, try to check it out if im right.

I have the max batch of UA of this reverse grinch and i have the nike release. And base on my comparison, the max batch is the best batch of UA for kb6 reverse grinch. Even for the details of the box it is the same.

Real one has thicker shoe lace, the heal pattern on the bottom of the shoes webbing has more detail to it. And the detail that you pointed out aswell!

The grip texture on the reps are bigger than the retail pair. Look at the heel specifically side by side. The snake skin has larger holes on the reps. Also the front lip is slightly bigger on the retail pair.

Rep is the right. I can recognize the carbon fiber because I got sold a pair of 8s that were reps 😢. They do both look good though. Dope vid

You can always tell by the transition between the midsole and the upper, it's always too thick on reps, out of the box reps have flatter laces, and the stitching on the eyestay should hit farther on the 2nd eyelet - all hard to tell from a distance, those aren't bad

it's even harder to identify if you don't have a legit shoe to compare it to but I notice the side where the heel counter is thicker

Our thing is if you play in them will they tear apart? The bottom of the shoe is a mute cuz youll step on them. The residue is like okay whip it off and the grip at the back of the shoe is we guess obvious if you look at another shoe. We like the information. The Box is the give a way.

Something you won’t see there is a difference tech wise if you have the really high quality reps; Retail cushioning; nike Cushlon in the heel and zoom turbo forefoot, UA has Zoom air in the heel and zoom turbo in the forefoot - the edge actually goes to the rep/ua to me I prefer zoom air over cushlon personally and want the rep/ua pair for this reason

I got a W on snkrs pass, but I went true to size and with thick socks they’re hella fucking tight. So I’m looking to trade up to a size 12. I got an 11.5 only tried them on in my room on carpet. I’d say DS.

Real pair laces more rounded than flat, on the back part of sole the real pair got more small circles than the fake pair circles bigger… and like u said the back the heel line is smaller on the real pair and it’s thicker on fake pair…

when you pointed the 2 toes tgt, my hunch knew which was real. the real would have a more perfect curve to it if you have good eyes, you dont need the legit pair to check, just look and you can instantly KNOW something OFF also the color was meant to be orangy red not hot pink red - which the backlight tested showed, DONT know about the powdery of the midsole, but thats interesting the take-away is that the toe shape is the most important check to go for, it define the quality of that shoe would have been awesome if you do the slap test for both bottoms

Better than the reps I got from Sneaker Fanatics! Paid too much and was more than obvious when I opened the box. Laces and emblem was more of a yellow than green! Lesson learned!

Honestly it you don’t plan on reselling them get the reps they look exactly the same and they fit good especially if you put a better insole in them like the vktry insole for example i only use them to hoop don’t plan on selling them at all

Only difference I could see is the red on the heel.

obviously the R is fake. i can determine it thru outsole and the back of the shoe. the fake one has bigger honey comb pattern compared to the retail one

Pin me! at this time I watched this video the quickest way to check are 6 ways. 1 is the scales thickness the reps are still a bit thicker. 2 is the swoosh is a bit smaller. The 3 is the heel is a bit thicker when is come to the heel counter. The last one is bottom of the shoe where the Kobe logo has more honey comb shapes in that area! 5 the laces are more rounded. 6 you will have to look close but the carbon fiber is a tad bit longer on the reps. The retail will stop at the line on the bottom good luck every one

U can always tell a fake pair of Kobe 6s . The side lining is thicker on the fake pair.

The scaling line height is a dead giveaway, but there is a better batch that has better scaling line. Overall, great comparison.
