I struggled at first with discovering I was a soft autumn 😂 because I’d always worn a LOT of black and dark, high-contrast, cool colors. My WORST colors, apparently. (I was in my tomboy, mysterious punk/goth girl, masculine, don’t give a f phase 😅) NOW, about 2 years later, I LIVE in terra-cotta, olive, beige, and dusty rose! You might not like your season analysis at first, but it’ll grow on you as you notice that you really do look more radiant in “your colors”. And I don’t _always_ follow it, I do still wear black sometimes. Just not all the time.

WOW i love how just the color change in the makup took Alex's complexion from a 7 to a solid 10 for me. She looked ALIVE

Lol it’s sooooo fun to listen to people and what they think and what they fear before they have a good analysis done. As a bright winter, I clocked it right away and was giggling because you were already showing your natural pull towards those brighter colours. Even the nails had me giggling. You look AMAZING in those very bright, clear colours. Wow. And then as it went on, how more comfortable you were in the reds once you could SEE it. I liked the advice about winters wearing a light, a bright, and a dark. I think I’ve been unconsciously doing this. If I’m wearing a fairly neutral outfit I tend to want a shiny silver earring, some shine on my shoes, a brighter lip …. And ya, I’ve been wanting the light wash denims to work for me. I keep stubbornly buying them only to donate them sometime later because even on the bottom half of me they’re just too washed out. I love this stuff 😂 It’s so fascinating. I love how we all have associations with certain colours and we just don’t want to like them. I have the same reaction with purples but I know they’re some of my best colours. Although, I will say, it’s kinda hard as a winter, especially a bright winter to find great pieces. So much of the clothing market is geared towards warm neutrals or muted colours because the average consumer is terrified of colour but we need the colours to be bright and saturated. This was so fun!

Honestly i died when i found out i was autumn lol because i love brighter colors but like. Can i really be mad about looking great in wine and burgundy, yellow and olive green and navy?? Nope! This was very fun to watch and adorable/relateable!! Love it. I really recommend anyone who hasnt gotten into color analysis and trying out your seasons colors to nerd out about it, its really helpful if you struggle picking colors like i used to, and its super fun
