[34:06] "Before we construct general theories about man and his psyche, we should learn a lot more about the real human being we have to deal with. The individual is the only reality. The further we move from the individual into abstract ideas about homo sapiens, the more likely we are to fall into error."

[32:49] "My intuition consisted of the sudden and most unexpected insight into the fact that my dream mean myself, my life and my world. My whole reality against the theoretical structure erected by another strange mind for reasons and purposes of its own."

[34:02] "In this exchange with Freud, it dawned on me for the first time that before we construct general theories about man and his psyche, we should learn a lot more about the real human being who we have to deal with. The individual is the only reality. The further we move away from the individual to abstract ideas about homo sapiens, the more likely we are to fall into error.”

Jung's definition of Feeling at 41:43 --> "When I use the word Feeling, i refer to a judgement of value." it is not an emotion, and is a rational ordering function

Sense tells you that something exists, Thinking tells you what it is, Feeling tells you whether it is agreeable or not and intuition tells you from whence it came and where it is going.

David Anderson It is a dominant psychic function of a good improvisational cook. It is „irrational“ to put too much or too little salt or spice on certain foods, not because it is „true or false“ but because the food tastes better one way and not the other way. Same for creating a quality composition of a poem, music, or painting etc.

I'm one of those that's had the same few recurring dreams since I was younger. It deviates but I always seem to come back to recurring ones eventually.

Wow very telling of the conflict that was existing between these two friends. One can see that Jung world was being a bit suppressed by Freud's dominance. It was inevitable that the two would split on their theories of psychology. Freud needed a lot of self reflection. His pride and arrogance hinder him from seeing others views and being enlightened. d

The Antagonizer can you name theorist that have written about the jews and their Survival mechanism? I dont Think It is necesarily a matter of religion, but a matter of biological pre-disposition, since I have noticed similar patterns in people other cultures, not only jews.

The fact that this channel is named “REAL HUMAN” makes me doubt that this is, in fact, a real human…

at 40:00 minutes he describes the different ways in which he has found people to use their minds. knowing these "types" of people will help the analyst in recognizing what the patient's mind, unconscious or dreams are telling that individual.

21:50 "[A dream] may also anticipate a future event of some importance." !!! quite a bold claim for Jung to make! TC Lethbridge would agree, although maybe not on the importance part.

40:04 I’ve been both Jung and the people he’s talking about here. Jung for the better half of my life, the latter for the latter part, but the past 2 years has been a great fight to “become Jung again”

I read some where some other interruptions but I came to the conclusion that the shot to my temple meant death to what I worship in my mind. Because you know temple literally means place of worship. So what consumes your mind is what you worship.
