Man, after years of crafting and watching tabletop craft channels on youtube I got jaded on the hobby. Your channel is one of the few that get me hyped to cut some styrofoam again.

How about some tiles and/or scatter with subterranean plants , pits, or traps? You have a couple tiles with water (one with a critter in it), but there are other underground features you can include, such as bottomless fissures, lava tubes, etc.

Awesome! I did something very similar. I used a cheap spin-wheel type toy, put 4 different (somewhat circle-shaped) scenes on the wheel, then built a stone portal around it. I made my own "Guardian of Forever",(TOS Star Trek) but for DnD, and just rotated the wheel to show the different scenes in the portals opening.

Great video....I love how natural it looks, it looks nothing like a staircase. Turned out awesome. The light and scenery screen is a great touch.

Making little transparent slides is amazing! Alternatively, I've seen people make warpgates and stuff with an insert for their phone.

I hope you use the terrain with your players before releasing the video so they are shocked when you put these pieces on the board. Great imagination and execution. Love the cave series!

Amazing build. I don't know if you are a fan of Age of Mythology or not, but there's a cutscene in the Norse part of the game that this build reminded me of a LOT. The entrance to Midgard.

This is mind-bogglingly cool and actually beautiful. I can see 1000 applications for the lens idea, but I love the cave, too. I'm working on a bat diorama for someone, and your cave is so pretty!

You could use some of these techniques for a railroad board, or have your trains roll through a dungeon :)

I make dioramas for 1/12 scale figure photography, and these videos give me plenty of ideas for future projects. There's bound to be something in them you can piece off for your own hobby.

This is awesome… makes me think of making the exit scene with a boarded up exit but with gaps so the light comes through, or of a rock slide scene exit with rays of light showing… or even a splintered wooden door…. Besides the 4 seasons. Maybe even an apocalyptic scene 🤣😃😂 my imagination is running wild 😛

I think the last build is going to be another cave entrance/exit except I think it’s going to be the outside of the cave system. Maybe some foliage and trees leading up to a dark mysterious hole in the rock.

Nice! I’m working on a light box at the minute ... wish I had seen this a little sooner because I love the sanding the planting then drawing technique. I’m using straight up paper. Will definitely attempt something like this in the future !

What about underground lake/river tiles? Or underground swamp ?? Frozen caverns or lava tiles? Fire giants obsidian stronghold or mushroom forests? .... I think I love underdark... I have a problem

Thanks Seymour, everything is great. I’m aiming for weekly videos, but I don’t want to compromise quality for quantity. I’m going to take a a little more time to be able to produce these videos and crafts with all the detail I want in them.
