Italy is very (in)famous for looking like a high-heeled boot, but what I also learned as a kid but that rarely is mentioned is that Cuba looks like a crocodile. Also, when my sister was a kid, she used to think that the Kola peninsula looks like a troll's nose, which is very correct.
