There is no one on KZfaq who captures motherhood more authentically than you Sezzy! I so appreciate these types of vlogs because since becoming a first time mum 9 weeks ago to my boy, I've needed to see this kind of real motherhood content to not feel so alone. It truly is the hardest and most rewarding job in the world. I know that's something you hear a lot of mums say, but you truly will never understand it until you live it. Thank you for sharing your real experience of being a mum with us. Love you Sezzy! XO

Don't apologize for you being real in vlogs. We all love you being able to "vent" and get out your thoughts and clear your head. Also it's very relatable as a fellow mother to want to be able to be a parent but also still have your own life. Don't lose yourself when you become a parent 🥰 it's better for your mental health and for them as well to see you still loving and living your life 💝

I love this! 💗 As a business owner people (who are usually well meaning) throw around suggestions to our “hang ups” like we didn’t think of that ourselves. It seems easy to the outside world to “just hire” or “figure out” something. What they don’t realize is that every action we take has a reaction to our business, those we hire/have working for us and our personal lives. We can love our businesses while still disliking aspects of it. We should be able to talk about it without people suggesting solutions. We just need a listening ear like everyone else. Love your openness! It’s appreciated! 💗

Hey sezzy, i loved this. When people say to me there are biggest issues in the world or something along the lines, I always remind myself and those around me that just because others have problems that may be perceived as greater or worse, it doesn't negate mine. Life isn't always sunshine and roses, but that's life. You're doing so well at managing everything you do, the good and the bad. xx

NOT boring one bit! This was super helpful to see the juggle of work mom/SAHM. Glad you are being fulfilled in your passion projects & loving on those adorable babies. I have a 16 month & a newborn (1 week old) and this was helpful for me to see how you always feel pulled in so many directions yet your kids are your center & you manage it all so well. Glad I’m not the only ones that need a good cry & release from all these pressures! And they’re making you stronger, just like that Pilates 💪🏻

Sarah, this vlog has been life giving for me. I would lovvvve to see more like this if possible. I'm in a phase of life where I'm surrounded by new moms, but have yet to become a mother myself. I also create content for a living, and it feels like I finally found my "thing" my "niche", and I'm hesitant to become a mom right now because I fear that that means laying down everything else that I enjoy, especially feeling like I've only just started. Children are very much something my husband and I want for our family, and it's deeply encouraging to me, not only as a creator, but as someone who wants be a very active and present mother, to see you tackling all of it, while simultaneously sharing that you experience overwhelm. Thank you, truly, for sharing this part of your life with us.

Hey Sarah, if you see this I just wanted to say you're doing a great job mama!! ❤️❤️ Learning how to balance a career and family is no small feat. I will echo what others have said, your feelings and thoughts are valid so do not feel the need to apologise. Please know that your honest and raw videos are my favourite - albeit personal to you and your family please do not share if you do not feel comfortable and keep some memories for yourself and your family xoxo I've been a subscriber to your channel for quite some time now, way back when you were coaching gymnastics. I still remember the video where you were deciding on whether to continue with school or pursue content creation, KZfaq full time. I'd say I 'grew up' watching your videos and throughout the years and seasons of life I have found your videos educational, uplifting, moving, inspiring and motivating. As someone who is still trying to figure out what to do in life I took the leap of faith this year and decided to do things for myself. Saying 'yes' to opportunities that have always been a passion of mine but was too scared before, trying new hobbies and challenging myself. Saying 'no' to things that do not align with what I want and is taking rather that adding to my life. As much as I love your bubbly content I love when you and Kurt share more of the business aspects, what you consider as the boring admin bits is the fascinating to me. Maybe when the kids are older you could squeeze in a cheeky "Day in the Life of a Female CEO Vlog" #YEAHTHEGIRLS #femaleempowerment

Loved this vlog. Its so real. The moan is nessecary because it helps process. Two things can be true at once. You can be a passionate entrepreneur and want to be a present mum. It's just getting the balance and that's where the frustration comes. Balance isn't having it all, it's knowing your priorities.

I 100% understand where you are coming from in terms of balance. I run a consultation firm that focuses on small business. A Suggestion that might be able to help: set your calendar in blocks that read "in a meeting" and communicate with your team that that means all communication must halt until that meeting block is over. this is when you are in your pilates class etc. you are doing great and I love that you said that you will begin streamlining your workflows. rooting for you Sarah!

I have such a deep appreciation for you showing exactly what your life is like. I enjoy seeing how people live and I think that your profession in particular is very romanticized when people don't realize the serious amount of time and effort that it takes to make this a full-time career. And that's not even on top of being a parent. Both you and Kurt are doing fantastic and I hope you're reminded of how wonderful you guys are and continue to be! I've been following your content for years and look forward to continuing to support you 💛

Hi Sarah! I’ve been watching you for years and I never comment… but I had to take a quick minute today… I run my own business - not quite the empire you run, but still - I’m the boss. When my daughter was a baby (she’s nearly 6 now) I felt everything you’re describing - and actually, I still do! She’s my number one priority and always was… I also wanted to be the one looking after her - I couldn’t get more help at home or at work so I had to go with how things were and make it work - so everything you said really resonates with me :) I just wanted to tell you you’re doing an amazing job. The only thing that works for me is to turn on DND when I’m having ‘me’ time - if it’s less than an hour, the chances are the urgent thing can wait until I come back… or I block it out - dnd - in my diary and my team know to email it to me for later and if it’s a true emergency, they call me… I don’t know if any of that helps you, but I hope it does :) keep doing what you’re doing - balancing your ambitions alongside motherhood is a struggle worth having and you’re knocking it out of the park xx

I absolutely LOVE these style vlogs. I like your other vlogs too, but these remind me a bit more of your O.G vlogs. (At least O.G to me when I joined the channel) I loved how back then it was such a realistic view of how you balanced managing your home, building your business, keeping fitness a priority every day, and nurturing relationships with Kurt, your family and your friends. These vlogs give me the same vibes, and now there is the added element of also balancing mom life, and I am just absolutely obsessed with it!!! I wish you would post more of these types of vlogs.

Prioritising your children and not wanting to have them feeling rushed is beautiful to hear. I’m keen to watch you transition to a calmer schedule once things are running out of the warehouse and interested to hear what projects you cut away and what you hold onto. I honestly don’t know how you do what you do and NOT burn out, I would get so overwhelmed and cranky and eventually burn out i think (mum of one and another on the way).

I set up my business a year before I had my toddler and since having her Iv hardly done any work and I really want to get back to it but it’s exhausting and any “free” time I get I want to rest and eat something. I say free time but realistically thats the time I get washing on, do the dishwasher, washing up, clean, sort the pets out, clear up toys that are scattered EVERYWHERE, change bed sheets etc and then the toddler is awake. God knows how it’ll be once the baby is here, I wish I could afford someone to come clean once a week. That would be amazing to me and soooo helpful

I really like your vlogs because I like keeping up with your life and seeing your little ones faces, not because you’re on a picnic at the beach!❤️ My first baby is coming at the end of summer and I like it when people keep it real and grow with our ever changing lives.🥰

Not boring! Really cool to see the behind the scenes and the real emotion that comes along with the responsibility of running a company as a parent. I get when you’re working it’s hard to document things so no pressure to make every vlog like this but this vlog was refreshing.

I use organic ground flax seed to help with my milk production. It has been great for almost 2 years for us. I put it in my yogurt or in a smoothie.

I hate that you feel the need to clarify "I know I'm complaining but.." because you actually are NOT complaining! You are VENTING because you are human, and you're sharing your life online and this is real, and because you have a ton going on. As someone who is a new small business owner and struggling, I feel so comforted knowing that even majorly successful business women feel this way sometimes and that it's not just me being stupid or getting myself into pickles; sometimes there's just so much going on and it all falls on me and I feel like it's insurmountable and like I can't do all of this, so tbh, hearing you talk through those feelings was really reassuring and helpful. I am grateful that you are sharing those parts of your life with us instead of just only the positive highlights that make me self reflect and think "if she can do it and i can't, there must be something wrong with me" you know?? So thank you.
