I think they should be able to pick how high the horse jumps so if you want to do smaller jumps they won’t jump like 5 feet higher

One of the horse breads I would like to see in the game are Friesian horses for dressage or a Gipsy vaner horse Gipsy Vaners can be used as roping, dressage, barrels, poles, jumping, cross country, team pening, or ranch work.

Thoroughbreds actually come in way more colors. You just don't often see the flashy ones racing. I'm a sucker for realistic genetics in games (though, to date, none have got it right enough for my picky butt).

As someone that currently works with mini’s I would love to see them added!! Since most of the ones I work with have their own unique problems and I feel that is something present with all mini’s, I would like to see that added too (maybe with other horses as well) Basically there will be a problem that would be randomized and that will be the problem that your mini has and that you have to train out of it. Also, I love the fact that I’m suggesting this when I don’t even have MineCraft or SWEM

id love if they added ponies, for sure we need them and more coat colours or that you can make ur own like in the sims...? edit: and more diff horse breeds edit 2: and diff heights edit 3: markings and diff mane and tails edit 4: more types of tack edit 5: act just everything you told in the video edit 6: and that we can tame foals so we can put a halter and blanket on but that they wont show us the tack os stats edit 7: and yes the coat that we have a base colour and then that we can make our own marking like in the sims it would be very cool ediy 8: yes also the main and tale, braiding and growing the mane out edit 9: personalitys, ik we kinda have some personalitys but like complete personalitys edit 10: more tack options, like racing, trail ride saddles, diff types of bridles edit 11: more items

I really can't wait for this mod to be able to download on phones like iphones and stuff like that for people who play Minecraft on their phone. It will be really cool for mod that are like that to be available for other electronic devices. And not just horses, cause I know swim was all about that. The cattles and other farm animals, plus if you have a cat or a dog, that'll be really awesome to see.

I am surprised that no one *i have seen so far* is disappointed or bugged that swem didn’t add falling off your horse or horse injury’s or sick horses yet. It isn’t the true horse riding experience without ending on the ground, and also, i saw many rrp’s with vets but nothing to do, and it would be definitely more realistic if swem added the video suggestions and mine. Swem is so realistic and I appreciate it so much, but they should work on other things too. I don’t mean to be spoiled or anything but it would make hopefully many people happy like me. This is just a suggestion and thank you swem for what we have already ❤truly a beautiful and good mod.

theres so many sizes of donkeys! some are as big as a horse, it would be lovely if we had huge donkeys! also check out Phantom Equestrian mod! they are working on it atm

I know i’m a little bit late but i think that they should add a less bulky breed like an arabian! SWEM is so realistic compared to other horse mods and i have never played it before, but i was wondering if you could fall off the horse? I love your ideas for how to implement mood and hunger based on activity level! These would be so hard to code in usually but the ways you’ve suggested seem very feasible. It’s a shame a good bit of the features you’ve mentioned have been planned to be added for ages and likely won’t be, the original plans and the new roadmap all have so much cool stuff in praying we get to see implemented cause SWEM, despite the management issues, surprisingly did manage to become an amazing mod!

There are so many breeds that you said!! Although my favorite breed is a friesian. I want them in the game because i think they are absolutely beautiful. They’re a good size and i would want it in more color variations like white(gray) and black.

I think I'd be really cool if they could add Horse trailers and a swem car in many colors, where you put your ranch/stables name on the car and on the trailer you could put any design on it the trailer could be similar to an astikor animal cart but with more design and it could only hold up to 2 horses also a place where you could put tack, even though i play alone i'd be a really cool feature for other swen horse owners

I think they need the horse breeds like you said and maybe more coats and better saddles. Like racing. Maybe the flat racing saddles and plain western saddle.

Id want to see a friesan in swem as they are just one of the most beautiful and elegant horses ive seen, I love their manes as well! Id say maybe some more dressage horses?

Carriages, please! And make it so that you can control the horse from the carriage itself! (I believe the Animania mod did this with the larger wagons.) I'm not a huge fan of how in most of these sorts of mods, you have to ride the horse to control it instead of riding the cart. As far as I know, that doesn't happen IRL, so it kinda bugs me quite a bit.

It would be cool if they added more types of tack like fleece halters or a type of le miuex halter design and turnout rugs and more tack colours or patterns

It would be so cool if they added a paint brush so we can color on them and customize them (idk if they already have it I haven't played it in ages) 🫶🫶🫶

Like from the hottest to the coldest climate and any of them that are partially aquatic from. Like if they live by rivers, oceans, any bodies of water.

id love to see personalities,lineage,more stats like a control stat so you have a reason to do dressage,leads you could shift right click on a halter and bridle and be able to lead the horse much closer and better(vanilla leads are really bad) and genetics i think they cant eat when they have a bridle but i wish they could and you could toggle it imagine being on horseback and ur horse is having a munch,petting horses,add keybind for toggling jump height like increment jump height and decriment so you could change it while running a course

Some ideas: More equines: As you said donkeys and mules! If donkey is above 12ish hands you can ride them.if under 10hands you can’t ride but have a variety of things you can do with them for example-use a cart on them,pasture buddy and have them as extra storage(storage chest on their back) Highly/size They can range from 10hh(which is pony sized)-15hh and above(which is horse size) Horses will jump taller,be faster and can be less spicy while pony’s will be be spicier,fit through deep forests but can’t jump as tall. Different breeds: Horses like thoroughbreds,friesians,Draft horses,Welsh pony’s,shetlands,ect. Thoroughbreds are faster,gallop for longer and will be taller than normal swem horses. Draft horses will be much bigger,easier to bond with,can’t fit through tight places and stable might be bigger for your horse to have enough space otherwise they will become less happy.and can’t have polo waps on. Pony’s : Can’t jump as tall,fit through tight spaces and if are smaller shetlands you can’t ride but will be able to keep you company on trail rides Horses being able to follow you: If you use a treat your horse will be able to follow you around the pasture or accompany you on adventures! Jump: Have your horse jump smaller when riding over a caveleti or if your horse is newer to poles they might do a small jump over them during time they will willingly trot over them(Idk if this is a good idea or not🤷‍♀️)be able to change how big horses jump/don’t have them jump 5 blocks or taller as it feels less realistic. Be able to pick up field toys: It might be harder to code but would be so much cuter!! More gaits: If they add Icelandic’s they can do a special gaits-tolting and flying gaits! I also wish they add Tennessee walkers! More tack: Some tack the can put in-racing tack,fluffy halters,fluff at the top of blankets,multicoloured accessories,war bridles/more bridles,leadropes, Hoof picks(idk if they have them or not). Animations: We can control are horses to buck and rear. More animations-bowing,picking up hoofs,bronking and falling off! Why does this look like a essay💀

i can't think of anything to add but i like all of what you had idea wise, i've wanted to get this mod but the swem horses seem like too much work so some tweaking to the care and things would be nice

they're planning on making new models and adding coat genetics buttt that'd take a while and im not totally sure what they're doing lol. I'd love for more variation on the coats, having the different face and legs markings on different colours would be cool 😅the markings + height differences would be great for having them look like separate horses, the custom hand done coats are cool but get stale and limiting very quickly. I heard ages ago that they were planning on working with the people who made the realistic horse coats mod but I haven't heard anything on that in forever, i think that'd be a great idea though It'd be a lot of work but I think adding like 9 models + mini +donkey and mule would be really amazing, instead of having breed specific models, having like small + thin/regular/big, medium +thin/regular/big, and tall+thin/regular/big would be eaiser than making breed specific models and there'd still be a lot of variety for RPing certain horses to be certain breeds and tall + big could be any draft, a regular + big could be a friesian or vanner etc, and having being gaited an inherited trait so that you'd have to breed for it kinda similar to breeds.

One breed I would like to see in game are friesian horses that could do dressage or jumping or barrel racing

I think that they should add different breeds and one should be an Arabian! A feature could be they can run faster in deserts or on harder grounds. Another Breed is a Fresian. Features could be they can withstand cold temperatures longer than normal horses!

I wish they added a wash set for the horses like a hose hood pick and that u can change the mane like u can put it in braids and plaits and buns and even more

Love the different breeds but i want horses to be able to gallop longer then just a few seconds. Like the quarterhorses should be able to run a quarter mile longer than any of the others whole thoroughbreds are a bit slower yet can run for a bit longer.

i think they shouldnt do breeds but a vague breed type: small pony( like a shetland) big pony (fjord, welsh) racing (lean horse like thoroughbred or arabian) riding horse (grade horse, morgan, most horses are in this category) maybe skip this one: light draft (freisian) and the heavy draft (Clydesdale, shire)
