RW should never be a priority when you have 4players who can play there. only reason its even talked abt is because of olise.

Branthwaite is a player who is needed

United are so restricted financially. Need to prioritise Center Backs or we will never be able to play properly. Need to sell players early. Its going to be such a messy transfer window and can see United missing out on transfers in because of bad management and judgement.

Branthwaite i could see going for 70 million plus and a queue of clubs to sign him / potentially a bidding war. I'd say of course go for him , Jarrad looks a top CB in the making but he's more the type hopefully we can circle back on after some sales and see if we can get in on the scrap to sign him. With the fee and competition i don't see him going super early in the window anyway. Jarrad has so much potential but not the most mobile and still a bit raw (understandably so) ; so at that fee i don't see being the first CB we should sign. He's the type i think we should try for if we sell Maguire (which hopefully we do) and ample funds raised to get in that competition to sign Branthwaite.

Martinez is not tall but when fit is a CB

My 5 signings and possibly one or two more based on sales. The core i'd go for - Todibo modern, pacy, tall ball playing CB who we should get for a good fee. Sesko or Zirkzee both quite close to Ramsus' attributes (tall young mobile dynamic 9s) and both available around that 35-45 million range. Wieffer next - gives you height , physicality , mobility , solid defence and good passing & ball carrying and likely available for a reasonable fee. Unfortunately not heavily linked to Wieffer. Me personally i go for Frimpong , maybe not an ideal PL / back 4 type RB but he is such a dynamic / electric player and supposedly a fair release clause ; otherwise we will never get near him especially for this supposed clause / fee. If we signed Frimpong i'd move Dalot to LB , Diogo plays well at LB already and his style of play not so reliant playing on the right. Then Olise at RW , unless we sell Rashford and Amad is out the door not sure this is the wisest use of funds. Olise is quality but Garnacho can not be benched and we know ETH will not bench Rashford ; but Olise looks most likely. And i'd actually sign Rabiot on a free , with FFP we wouldn't be offering insane wages and we don't have the funds for another CM. Plus he is better than Scott , Eriksen , Amrabat, more the ilk we need over Mount. On a free as a second CM signing - who is a tall physical ball carrier who adds goals as well with some top experience , i'd sign Rabiot. Onana i just do not rate that much (likely quite expensive as well) , tall and physical but on the ball not sold on him ; not to say he wouldn't do well for another club but i wouldn't risk it for us.

I really doubt we can buy players to fit all the positions you have mentioned. I hope the academy can help.

Come on we cant buy Branthwaite. Anything other than a back-3 build up in possession is highly uncommon in top football. We have our central CB in Martinez already and Branthwaite isn't a left channel defender like Luke Shaw or Todibo is on the other side.
