Hi.. yes in the US most of the Indian kids will speak in English only because of school. We get a chance to speak with Indian people but they are from different states. So mostly kids speak in English only

Maybe for style. Parents should teach them and explain. I know my friend keep telling her kids to speak in English instead of Tamil. She thinks it’s easy for kids when they are at school. But it’s not , kids have ability to learn other languages at the same time

Keep a baby blanket or a towel on the bar of cart. As kids tend to come forward sometimes and can hit the jaw. ( there is a wrap you get otherwise that goes around the cart higher side)
