I remember how kids used to throw all of their school stuff all over the classroom during the last day of each semester. I picked up a lot of it. I still have so much stationary from those days.

I feel like everyone learns differently. For me, writing in a notebook is the best for me. Then I take that info and make practice quizzes and flash cards. When I use electronics I misspell words because of autocorrect and I get distracted easily lol

I bought a MacBook Air for college in September. I literally have worked daily thru the summer to afford it. its more environmentally friendly than writing on loads of paper ALSO I type way faster than I write. so highly recommend saving up for one, it will take a while but its worth it

Paper notes deff aren't sustainable in med school! Microsoft One Note is what we used.

I’m not even in education but I love these types of videos! I recommend a small bag (not just for school) with things like plasters, painkillers and female hygiene products; People were very grateful when I had some to spare :)

Luckily, I bought so much supplies lasted year for my second year of university I don’t need to buy any stationary for this year (3rd year on uni). I may need a notebook or two and a few pens and but that’s it . I stocked up so much last year

the downside of using ipads that nobody seems to tell you about, is that when it's exams week and you have to study from 2 documents on the ipad simultaneously ( maybe one has the main lecture and the other has applications and exercices) you CANNOT open comfortably two or more docs at the same time ( on an android u have the split screen but still it's SO UNCOMFORTABLE). So yes, having tried both, i rather handwrite, that way i can highlight faster ( which takes ages between switching colours and fonts on ipad) and i run no risks of losing the integrity of my classwork due to a prob in an electronic ( also happened to me in finals week 😢)

The most sustainable reason to buy a tablet: you have paper, pens, pencils, markers, all kinds of colors, rulers, perfect shapes, lines etc.for just a single payment of 300-600 €/$/£ no matter whether it is ios, android or windows without all the plastic packaging and waste for transportation, delivery ..., you don t even have to go to shopping for supplies every month

Yess so you no longer have to take notes on paper which is just not sustainable, you can use apps like good notes to make and store your notes. Much easier and more efficient system. Also easier and lighter to carry to class etc

You’re only gonna need a laptop if you’re in some sort of designing class, anything like that you might need it. its quicker to type on a laptop. You can do most things on an ipad that a computer does but having one is still useful

I have the iPad 7th gen and the Apple Pencil 1 because it was cheaper than the new one and does the job. I also use good notes to take notes but I heard notability is another good app. And so far I haven’t had any issues with storage no.

Depends what you mostly use it for but probably iPad because you can get a keypad and it works as a laptop. So it’s more versatile

I’m definitely still in the process of learning about sustainability and clean buying and taking one step as I go to hopefully make a lifetime change. I’m sure I’ll contradict myself a lot as I go but that’s the process of learning (or Unlearning lol)
