Thank you Abhishek Bhaiya for debunking the myths around the clat exam. While it is fairly true that an average IITian will earn much more than an average NLU grad , but the same cannot be said around the top 5 NLUs. They are equally placed with decent packages along with their counterparts from IIT and SRCC. AND YES CLAT is getting competitive day by day. Securing a tier-2 NLU is getting difficult let alone a tier-1 college(even if you take drop) because the exam is so unpredicatble. So keeping CLAT as a backup is a folly.

Bro at IITs and NITs , always career opportunity high hoti hai. And at NLUs top 10 percent hi log kama paate Hain and even when they are among top colleges. But IIT/NIT main Max earn great at least above 7-8 lpa

I don't think so. IITians have a higher earning capacity than NLU students according to my experience. IITians are league apart. Even at IIMs, people with IIT background bag higher packages. Sorry bro.

@@aanchal4090 I guess you deciphered wrong discussion here. We were discussing something else. Btw I am from IIT and thenafter IIM, so I can vouch for the thing that YOU ARE WRONG. Reason being the factors associated. The average salary, number of students placed (not properly shown at IITs/NITs at a greater level), The growth aspect, how many domestic or international packages, and the most important the drastic fall of the salary given (except Circuital branches). Hope it will help you to think AANCHAL.

@@shubhamjha5719 no. I wasnt saying anything to you but the comment above. Lol. Anyway I have a cousin in one of the top 3 NLUs and they don't have crazy max package. In 2023, 60 were placed in a batch of 110-115. Maybe the others opted out from placements not sure about that for pursuing LLM. About the IIT students, from the trend I have noticed, generally iitians bag better packages than others at IIMs. And I think it is because of what you said, higher career opportunities. Anyway I can be wrong. This is my understanding of the situation.

@leenasingh6181 Don't flex. There are many ppl who I know cleared Clat and got Nls in 3-4 attempt also. Luck also plays a huge role in such exams. Also the correct spelling of focused and attempt.

Great Video Abhishek! Tier 1 NLU Student's do earn as much as IIT grads, but now even Tier 2 NLU'S are having great placements. Multiple NLU Odisha, RMLNLU Lucknow student's are getting placed at avg packages of around 10 lakhs. So it is very much worth it even if you manage to secure a seat in a tier 2 NLU. Tier 2 NLU's though do not have regular placements, some students through their hardwork and by interning at top Law Firms, during their time at law school do manage to secure 12-15 lakh placements.

The most important thing to note- 1) NLU's have a five year degree program. 2) The legal market is in a booming phase right now and will grow even more in future. So, the students that enroll today will come out at a time when they'll have ample of great opportunities.

Avg package of IIITH 32 lpa and highest package of NLU can be 20 lpa , see the diff.

@@Kunaaaaal See, in that way even IIT bombay's avg package is 23 lac around and NALSAR (NLU ) Hyd. avg is 23 around. So according to you IIIT hyd is the best ones and all the rests are bad? I mean, the video is about mentioning NLUs as the top tier colleges along with the lines of other such colleges in different field. Your comparison is unwanted and irrelevant, like out of nowhere.

3 years llb is single degree program jiske liye aapko graduation degree bhi chahiye hogi llb krne se pehle jaise ba bcom bba etc toh it will take total 6 years for u toh complete only ug of law which is llb but in case of 5 years llb program it is integrated which means combination of 2 degrees jaise bballb ballb bscllb bcomllb so 5 saal wale m aapko 2 degress bhi mil jayegi plus time bhi kam lagega So 3 year llb + 3 year graduation degree (total 6 years)

For admission through Vacant seat.. aspirants need not to register for Counseling...NLUs charges seperate registration fees for vacant seat form filling. This is as of Now?may be at your time their may be such rule

They were, at a time. But with gradually the rest in the top 10 or 12 becoming older and changes in time, all are getting good. NLUO, which is so much younger than colleges like SRCC, avg package this year was 12 lac and the latter had 13 lacs. And with more international opportunities in business coming to India, this trend is gonna be stronger.
