Well in my mind it is a tie. Hindley Street Country Club from Australia is fantastic as well. F & F does these covers with the same singers and harmony is the best!

They are good but there are plenty of great so called cover bands on KZfaq. Leonid and friends is just one of them. Keep rolling out the great memories

Yep, it was F&F's cover of Suite Judy Blue Eyes that made me follow this band for the last decade or so. I still go back and watch it at least once or twice a year. And agreed, their experience really increases the quality.

For just a a brief moment, it's the early 70s, I'm wearing bell bottoms and a flannel shirt and an army surplus coat, this song is playing in the 8-track player in the 64 van as we tool down the highway chasing the sun. Just a brief moment but in that moment all is right with the world again and hope rushes to the forefront. Thanks so much for lightening my heart this evening. You folks are special.

After seeing the full concert on demand this year, I can say without hesitation that - despite major competition - this is the most hauntingly beautiful song of the set. Perfection in every way, and the five part harmonies (coupled with the rest of the stellar band) really are Ear Candy.

Just the Greatest. I would be in my hootch in Vietnam in 1969 and my friend Larry Bish who had his Guild there would duplicate Paul Simon exactly, and the aesthetics of this masterpiece that still warms my heart just washed over me. It is truly my favorite song

Tim...that song is "difficult" to sing?! Are you SERIOUS?! Everyone on stage sliced through that song like cutting warm butter with a sharp knife! That was PERFECT in every way possible...the band slayed it at the same level as you vocalists! Holy perfect cover Batman!

What they have is musical harmonies and a sense of what the lyrics mean. I don’t think kids are exposed to beautiful, purposeful, intelligent music like this anymore. It’s what made Simon and Garfunkel great, the Beatles, so many of the songs we enjoy today. It’s just that beautiful. This band is like a booster shot of my college years and what was loving and supportive to me in difficult times. Love your sounds, not just the vocalists, but the musicians as well.

Back on a live stage, I love it! After all these years, my favorite is still Suite: Judy Blue Eyes. When I heard/saw it, I thought my hearing and my eyes had gone funny... I wondered.... how is it possible for such a difficult song in every aspect, to be covered with such clarity and courage! Everything was spot on - nothing was missing and there were only five F&F then. I also feasted on the atmosphere and the good time they were having - couldn't take my eyes of the girls 😇😇

Hitchhiking from upstate NY to CA in the summer of 1971, stuck trying to catch a ride on an on ramp near Flint, MI for 12 hours (not knowing that the state prison nearby had just had two inmates escape, and me in jeans, a blue chambray shirt, and boots...). The trucker who finally picked me up explained the error of my mistake. And this song running through my mind much of the time.

I recall hearing this song for the first time in the late 60s. I was at school in England and my form teacher played it to the class, as he felt it had historical merit in that it captured some of the concerns of the era. I think he was right, but it's really hard to imagine that happening nowadays. I still think Paul Simon came up with some of the best songs in my lifetime, and this is a really lovely version.

So true! One of the best things about the reunion show and vids has been hearing Chase with Maggie & Sammie, as well as Maggie with Sammie & Chase! Sammie is marvelous in harmony with Tim, and though the dynamics of the Foxes lineup takes on different vibes - the songs chosen and masterfully arranged / performed by the Fossils is thoroughly special for the vocalists de jour. They all, together, bring a smile to soul as they feel the songs for us in their own unique way. R.I.P. 🪦 Rock-in-Peace Scott King 🙏

This is so special in every way. But I can’t help but think it was this song that inspired Tim to sing it with Sammie, add Maggie and form a group that in March 2010 would be known at their first gig as Foxes and Fossils. Add Johnny and Toby and later Chase and for this Reunion Concert add Greg, Paul and of course bassist Richard to make THIS SONG SOAR!!

Astonishing. Simply astonishing. This song is absolutely out of the world, and these sweet voices make it so much better. Both my daughter and I "grew up" together with Paul Simon. She and her husband took me to see Paul in his final tour season. He did a wonderful job of this song; but honestly, not as good as Foxes and Fossils do it. So nice, guys and gals.
