Not sure why my 1tb variant Realme GT5 comes iwth OxygenOS instead of Realmi UI

Hi, thanks for your comment. The Realme GT5 is a flagship smartphone that runs on Android 13 and Realme UI 4.0. However, some variants of the Realme GT5 may come with OxyzenOS, which is a custom ROM based on Android 13 and developed by OnePlus. OxyzenOS offers a different user experience and some additional features compared to Realme UI 4.0

@@TheTechCriticYT Do you happen to know if it will support future software updates OTA? I'm getting mixed answers. Some say it will, mostly say it won't. Never had a China ROM phone before flashed to Global.

Hi, thanks for your comment. According to the official realme website, the Realme GT5 supports OTA updates for realme UI 3.0 and above versions. You can download and install the latest software version on your phone using the realme UI Update Tool (www.realme.com/in/support/software-update). However, if you have a China ROM phone flashed to Global, you may need to manually update your phone using the recovery mode method (c.realme.com/in/post-details/1189132724619706368). You can find the instructions and the OTA package on the realme community forum. I hope this helps. Cheers!

Im planning to buy this phone but im scared about it being a global rom and using oxygenos. it wont affect anything right? Compare to if it was made for like my country region version?
