As someone who grew up without a father, these types of videos really help me find direction. I'm 24 years old now and have two younger brothers who don't have there fathers in their lives either, and I've come to take that roll without knowing much due to having nobody to look up to. Thank you Antonio for being an inspiration for my life and how to move forward keep up the great work, you have alot of impact on people just through videos as these alone.

Thanks for sharing with us about your earlier life, what the chaos was like while you were growing up. Certainly puts everything into perspective for this segment. I’m happy for you and the life you lead now. You are giving your kids the stability you deserved when you were younger. Wish you all the best.

You don't have a choice. You're a man with a family, & a limited income. It's like a welfare recipient wanting to be a real estate investor, they don't have that choice. You don't either. I'm glad you're content. You sound like a good dad. 👍

@ifeelsoyy you’re entitled to your own life choices, personally though that sounds less than ideal to me, your kid won’t graduate highschool until you’re almost 50, and if they wait just as long you’ll probably be dead before you get grandkids

Yeah, but a lot of women today don’t appreciate the grinding life. They want the excitement and chaos that comes with party life. Nobody ever asks me how I became relatively ‘wealthy and successful’. The answer is simple: work 60-80 hours a week at a job nobody wants to do for 25 years. Found an amazing woman who was down with my no-drama policy. In my experience, an exciting life is bad most of the time.

I remember going to a physical checkup at the doctor and when he asked how my life going I straight up said, "Nothing, I have a pretty boring life." He then replied that is actually good because the more boring my life, the healthier I am. This is true haha, ever since I decided to get healthy people call my life "boring" and "dull" because I don't do drugs, smoke, or even eat pizza. Only thing I do is social drinking. So never be ashamed or feel justified that your life is "boring," chances are you have a much better life than other people and will be in a better state physically and mentally years from now or maybe even tomorrow. Take pride in your routines as they allow you to walk an extra few steps in life.

I am now in my late 60s, and as a retired person I really enjoy myself with my routine. Go for a walk in woodland with my partner and dog; then play my guitars and synths, and then cook some good food, and at night look at the moon or planets through my telescope whenever possible. This could be boring to some people, but I love it.

Ditto to everything you said. "Boring" is highly underrated. People craving drama and excitement all the time was not the norm half a century ago and before. It is a relatively new phenomenon spurred by social media and modern culture, which is at war with anything deemed traditional. Looked at from a different lens, 'boring' can be synonymous with stability, contentment, and harmony. Boring is good!!

While I was getting my Alexander Technique certification we talked often about slowing down and one of my favorite concepts was "learning to wait". Just being able to sit there and wait for something; your appointment at the doctor, the server to bring your check, whatever it may be. Being able to wait patiently, without becoming irritated or distracted, even being pleasant, had become one of my favorite skills

Just the video I needed. I’ve been pushing myself too hard for months, trying to do everything, to be what someone else wanted, not feeling good enough and trying to take on even more and I’m finally burning out and coming back to the realization that way of life isn’t for me and I need to shoot back down, stop stressing and over stimulating my mind to distract myself. It’s ok to be a little boring if it makes you happier

Appreciate you sharing your story. A lot of guys have drama we find our way though but don’t talk about (which is a shame). It says a lot that you are willing acknowledge so that others can recognize that life isn’t always easy or great but no less special. I agree wholeheartedly that these experiences while not fun build character and empathy. If reflected on a better man. You didn’t say, but I would also argue that we don’t get to chose how we start life but we do get to chose the life we build, and now to treat others. Which is why what you are saying is so important. I would take time, relationships, and nature over money and excitement any day. Thanks for a great video.

A nice take on the nature of human existence, Antonio. I believe that boredom is a self-imposed condition and a state of mind. When I was younger, I figured I had all the time in the world to indulge my passions. I still have many boxes yet to tick. Some I will; others, I'm not so sure. I have found new passions along the journey. With age, priorities shift. My kids have grown (I can identify with what you are going through as a father, Antonio, especially those car rides when the intensity level rises.) My wife and I are re-engaging, taking on the empty-nest conversation, and rediscovering our friendship. I have a lot to look forward to in the years ahead--weddings, grandkids, and travel. I exercise like a fiend. I feel like I am just getting started in my work. Sure, there may be idle moments, but they are never boring. As I oft say: every day above ground is a good day.

Your best most insightful video. People say my life is boring too! I like to cycle and run a lot, I don’t drink at the pub that often. I enjoy being in nature and when I cycle I’m often out for several hours at a time most days all year! I do all my thinking in this space. I don’t think I’m boring, it’s my life.

Having moved around for education the last 6 years I'm looking forward to that "boring" stable life of employment and living under the same roof for more than a year. Several hopefully. This was really interesting to hear from you. Would love to see more stuff like this

You are a great great soul❤. You have some idea but you do not know the extent of the life-changing impact you have on your audience. God bless you, and your amazing family! I am a 61 yr old retired dentist with 4 grown children, and I am speaking from experience. Thank you for your incredibly hard work ethic and extra efforts!

Your channel popped up in my feed for some reason. Glad it did :) I am a single mom. I divorced my husband when our daughters were 18 mos & 3 years old due to his alcoholism. The final straw was when he got 2 DUI’s within 7 months. Daughters are now 16 & 17 years old. I spent all of the their growing up years with them. I did not date. Very routine life. I work, they have school, then it was their after school activities, go to church on Sunday, meals at home, etc.. people tell me that My life is “ boring “ & that I need to get out n have some fun”. I LOVE my routine life. I don’t want to “ go out” . I would rather “ go out” to watch my kids in their chosen sports & activities’. A very Routine stable,NO drama life!! It was nice to hear this video ! I’m not the only one that LOVES the simpler, no drama life!!
