At first I thought Mongolian people are intimidating and scary, after watching this now they seem so warm and affectionate, with good sense of humor. They welcomed the foreign boy and treated him as if he was their own son. That’s real nomad hospitality, respect ❤️🇲🇳

What a beautiful story to tell. It’s amazing to me how passionate a kid be and how supportive is parents are. His mom must have been so scared for him. Also the Mongolians welcoming him if they could have easily laughed it off. Great documentary!

This was so beautiful to see. Throughout the video I had a smile on my lips and cried at the end because I felt proud of him. To see a child meet his dreams and never gave up. Such fighter and what nice memories he will always carry throughout his life. ❤️🐴👦🏻

Come join us down in the Khangai mountains for a thunder hoof...we share much in common--both my boys Liam and Galen raced in the local Nadams until they had to retire with size. Wow what an incredible film. Thank you for making and positing it. I am a Mongolian now living in the UK and this completely reminded me of my childhood. 1 of all I want to congratulate Chingis for making his dreams come true. This is a huge accomplishment as the competition horses are wild, unpredictable and very hard to control. I actually can not believe he finished the race. Huge accomplishment. And the parents for been supporting and encouraging him, not babying the boy. Reminded me of Mongolian parent. He has definitely become quite a Mongolian and this experience would definitely gave strength to go on and be an accomplished man. And how cute are the Mongol babies. Thank you again. 💕

Sizewise, Agnus's brother fits perfectly. Agnus is a bit too big for racing with that horse for a long distance. I would be worried about both Agnus and the horse. The horse owner/trainer seems to be fine with it so good for him. The attitude (some mentioned) is coming from the urgency which is understandable; after all, he knew that it was his last chance. Other mongolian kids have more relaxed attitude. All in all, he did very well :)

Sadly, we don't talk anymore, but I love to remember the times we tuned in on each other. The last Time we rode together was in 1996 in ireland.😥😥

We as locals are very welcoming and doing our best to please our guests. But it would have been better not to forget that the local boy is also a child and it is very normal that he didn't want to give his horse to someone who just showed up. Even if the man says the guests can have it, you guys should think about how the local boy feels bad and need to reject it.

This kid got too much attitude. The Mongol family welcomed him with warm heart and gave them the best respect but he is trying to think himself better over others. Nothing wrong with him, it has to do with how the parents educate him. I hope he is a humble person now.
