Kenny, I love how you take a tutorial and create an amazing sounding track. I actually started writing a vocal melody in my head, totally involuntarily! Your videos are awesome, my friend.

Thanks kenny. The free plugin series are really to my liking sofar. it really helps me getting some of my students some nice free VST instruments. The only thing i could add to it is plagues sforzando and alterego(they are just fine)

I'm so grateful for all the linux free plugins in this series ! I'm working on figuring out how to use wine with yabridge to run the others.

I love the design with this one, each addition complementing the previous track. I see you must have made the project beforehand then deconstructed it for our benefit, thanks. With these tutorials music production feels attainable, Peace :)

I don't use Zebralette for meat and potatoes sounds, but when I want something unusual or unique, Z has delivered many times.

Thanks for this. I got Podolski a few years ago, and it... um...sucked. It was very unstable. Then I saw this and could tell immediately they had done a major upgrade or three. So, I DL'd the latest rev, and dayum! WAAAAY betterer. It's not as sophisticated as VITAL etc. but it is fast to program and is now a very nice and very easy synth to use. Cheers!

Nice video as always. Quick question: how do you manage to record "perfect" midi notes? are you using step recording? Also, is there any way to make the grid look as thick as in your videos? I have tried messing with the alpha in theme tweaks, but I fell like my grid lines are always too thin
@bert_wert3 жыл бұрын
Im pretty sure he talks about the perfect midi notes in one of the earlier videos of the plugin reviews. Gimme a sec gonna look up wich ome it was Edit: spitfire labs video he shows it(track recording settings, input quantise) At 6 minutes
@bert_wert3 жыл бұрын
The layout could be a settings thing or a skin. But not sure
@guidofazzito3 жыл бұрын
In the track, right click on the recording button -> track recording settings (it's almost at the bottom of the list) -> check "quantize track MIDI recordings" (first item at the top of the window that popped up). And there you go!

Hello Mr.Gioia, can reaper run off an external SSD drive? Can downloaded instruments be run off an internal HDD or an external SSD? If yes, could you show in a short video how that works? I only have a 256 SSD and want to keep as much space as possible. Thank you.

I notice that the preset UH Tine 1 (arp) in Podolski has auto panning built in but this is lost when rendering. Any advice on how to remedy this?
@ian25932 жыл бұрын
Hi, I remedied this by using online rendering and the stereo effect of the Podolksi arp is included.

Hi Kenny. I'm having a bit of trouble loading the drum library. It says "No Base directory" I've missed something somewhere. Please could you advise? Looking forward to using SSD5.5 Free. Thanks, Paul.

Yeah!!! Podolski!!! Lukas!!! Urs!!! Fussball- Weltmeister and my favorite Synth from the day it came out!!! When no musician knew who Urs Beckmann was. Kenny, you are pronouncing Podolski completely false. It's named after Lukas Podolski, a very famous German soccer player, then at the time wit the 1.FC Köln. Ask It's about the pronunciation over at KVR. 😁
