This has to latched on the 3:22 mins. has to hooked on the loop/ gap as seen in 3:53-4:25 mins. - and then zip tie 5:10-5:36 mins.

Farm , log , site work. Pulls loads on the regular that look like the Ford truck commercials I grew up seeing. . 20 plus years and the younger diesels got sold off and old faithful keeps going.

I remember watching a video years ago from ChuckE2009 talking about issues with these rear side doors. I'd never had a problem with mine..... then later that day, believe it or not, my driver's side rear door broke and wouldn't open. Just now finally doing something about it so I had to hunt up a video on how to get the door open without breaking $1000 worth of stuff in the process haha. Thanks for the info!

I've worked on a few older models f140's with the same problem. Thought maybe they would have resolved that problem in newer models. I recently did a couple of 2012 f150's. Same problem

I opened up my door panel, just to find that they were three zip ties on three different components from a previous owner. My problem seems to be in a different location.

I tried and mine isn’t working. The part the broke off and didn’t stay in the gap for you. Completely broke off and is no longer attached. I used a zip tie as a replacement but still isn’t working. Wish I could attach a picture

Thanks for the video, you have any suggestions on getting it open when you can not access the inside panels? I removed the seat and added drawers, so to access the inside panels the door needs to be open.
