There's not many ways you can arrange furniture in a tiny new york city studio apartment. You really have to get creative. I, for one, am terrible at interior design so this was a good challenge. One of the challenges of living alone is having to build furniture alone which takes twice as long, so please join me as I rearrange everything and bring new energy into the space (and crack a few jokes along the way).

I'm 32, living a boring life in a capital thats too pricey, in a box (200sq feet), and this is content that I was looking for. Its either moms with mom-wife-cleaning-perfect life content, or 20 yo aestethic perfect living the best life content. No judge, just there was nothing that I can relate to. Yes, I am too old for tik tok trends, too tired to party all the time, too broke to travel everywhere, I have few friends who also have their lifes and can't simply hang around all the time.

re-use that hanging rack. put it at the end of the bed as a room divider. leave the top section open to let light from the window throught, but hang something (plants, curtain, rattan blind, roman shade, blankets, weaving) on middle section. Then you could put the couch at the foot of bed and have the table come out perpendicular from the wall. still able to eat at table and others sitting in chairs can see TV. Enjoy your space.

I stood up for 2 hours catching up on all the videos i've missed & lemme tell you, this one has motivated me the most to get out of bed (in a few hours, its 5:50 am) & like really start my day & get things done. I also haven't felt "at home" in my apartment yet, & i've lived here for about a year, & don't have all of the furniture i want/need but this has given me the energy to make the best of what I have - thank you! 🥰

I think this looks really nice! My personal love is white walls and wood furniture. The wood gives warmth and the white walls and ceiling make it look bigger. You should be proud of that space. Well done!

You putting that Ikea furniture together is Me putting every piece of Ikea furniture I ever have LOL, so relatable! I also love that you finally have that grown up/figuring things out on my own/making my place work for me moment! I remember having the same moments when I left my ex of 12 years and got my own place. I had never in my adult life lived by myself. It was a big moment for me and I LOVED it! Being the one making all the decisions can be intimidating, but it can also be awesome at the same time! Anyway, really glad I discovered your videos recently! You're so much fun to watch! :)

I live in the Seattle area in a 370sqft studio, also with a queen bed and I work from home with my 72" wide desk 😂 I have no regerts! My desk and bed space is in a square and I have a giant window facing a beautiful park so I feel extremely lucky. Even though it's small, I feel at home here as well 🥰

You could put floor to ceiling bookcases behind the couch for more storage. (Ikea Billy might work)

First time I watched this video I didn't check for links for the furniture. THIS time I saw the link to the sofa I mentioned before. The price is nice and there were good reviews. Love your dresser but don't think I can deal with putting it together. You did a great job. TFS your life. Take care.

Hey! The sofa is a great price for a sofa, but I’ll be honest it’s a bit uncomfortable/stiff. The dresser however is amazing 10/10 five stars and worth the effort to put together :) thanks for watching!

I used to live in Chicago in a 450 sq ft studio, in 2021 I moved to Phoenix burb and bought my own 2500 sq ft 4 bedroom house 🏡 with a huge backyard.

My husband and I recently furnished a condo. SO much putting together of furniture, ugh, ugh, ugh. I thrilled when we went to Good Will and found an old dresser and a desk. Done!!

Love the new layout, now you just need to find a picture you like for your dining area and long term: book shelves with doors (glass or wood).. Open shelves in a small space just scream clutter.... Unless you are a clean freak / minimalist 😉

I love this! It's so nice to finally have a space to make your own and you'll keep adding small changes as you go and it just gets better and better! As cliche as it is, less is more, and knowing how to set up that "less" in a way that is both functional and aesthetically please FOR YOU will add so much to your daily quality of life! If you want some ideas on what to do with what's left, I think that foldable dining table would be great as a an island in your kitchen area when it's folded down, and when you have guests over you could scooch it out and open it up to the dining form. And that tiny table you currently have in the middle of the kitchen could be a great bar cart against a wall or besides the edge of the kitchen counter.

I've built my fair share of furniture on my own, so kudos! I think you can move the dining table to the wall the gold round mirror and christmas tree are on. You actually didn't necessarily need another table and just have one leaf folded down in the back. Seems like it would look cute there.

Maybe you can use yr old clothing rack with some curtains and create a nice separation between the bed and the dining table

Could you put dining table where xmas tree is? That way youv clearer space around your bed and full view to TV if your lieing on your sofa.? I might have the space wrong in my head. Hello🙂 A suggestion, maybe hang some fake plants or photos or both on a string from your ceiling between the sofa and bed. This will create a divider, but at the same time let in light.

Good job. Really good and impressive. Now - I want you to paint. It will feel so much better if you brighten it up with paint. (Probably white - but consult about a good white paint color). You also need lamps and art on your walls. You are heading in a good direction. PAINT PAINT PAINT.
