I tried so very hard to break the cycle. I never once let them be hungry, I never called them ugly names or told them they were useless. I felt such love for my babies and told them every day. They never had to hide bruises and welts. I never stole from them and I never taught or urged or expected them to steal. I worked my ass off at crappy nursing homes so they didn't go without whatever made them feel cool. I talked I touched I cared I gave I dropped everything and ran to help every time they asked. I gave, I tried, fixed cleaned, taught defended. I lived when I wanted to just die and be done. I loved them and I still failed. I'll never be enough, I've accepted that. I'll never be good enough. I'll never be rich enough. I'll never be cultured and cool and clean enough for them. I tried my best to break all the cycles but I still failed. They still hate me anyway and my grandbabyz are becoming strangers.

Yeah I've been clean off of Fentanyl and H for about 10 years with alcohol more beer I don't drink alcohol anymore cuz I black out and act like a dick. But with beer I never say I quit because if I do drink I don't want to beat myself up about it but the last time I drank I think was last year at some point it's almost been a full year but I learned how to control it. It's very weird how I did it but I think I drank because I hated myself I had no self worth once I found it and that took a lot of work but everything seemed to fall off then I was sober for a year I went to a bar drink a beer left my brain was like at 12:00 get a 12-pack I was like nope then it stopped and I realize shit I can control this so since then I've just when I want to drink I'll have a few beers if I don't I won't I never ever thought that I could ever do this I'm very glad and fortunate that I can
