Should you rush or max in clash of clans? There's 10 different reasons I'm breaking down for why YOU should consider rushing in clash of clans - today I'm going to be giving you reason #3 which has all to do with getting more dark elixir for your heroes. Enjoy!

You don’t need sneaky goblins to get dark elixir. I personally use miners but you can actually use anything as long as you focus on destroying all of the pumps and the dark elixir storage. You can even use lightning for the pumps if they are hard to reach and isolated from the rest. Sneaky goblins only sets you back 25,000 dark elixir when many of other troops are viable as well.

Clan wars only becomes serious for the Clan's perks. But once you have Perk 12 whether win or lose it becomes meaningless. Unless Supercell has something about that.

Since you cant get 6th builder until TH10 because of the mortars its better to take your time and advance the BH slowly but focus on the required buildings.

@@microwave4 Not at all there is absolutely no disadvantage of rushing your BH. You get better troops + u can upgrade your collectors and mine which is Essentiall for the 6th builder grind

@Fried Dog I rushed my BH but focused on the important buildings. I'm fully maxed at th10, waiting for my th to upgrade, and I've completed all gear-ups. Now I'm just left with the mega tesla (lvl5) cannon cart (lvl16) and battle machine(lvl 18 - it's going to take me a while 😥)

Well, rushing is a thing but you don't get that satisfacion of having a propper base (imo), and i like to set up defences and see how they stop the opp. My goal is not to max out, is to experience the game. Btw, great vid❤

@@gezjez9994 he made a great point when you rush you unlock new stuff but at the same time your base has no progress even if you try to fix it the first thing that runs across your mind is why you rush in the first place when you know your not getting the satisfaction you want from the desired th your at because you have low level defenses alot of loot you have to spend immediately and you get burnout even quicker that's why Kenny jo stopped posting the rush that base series because higher ths are desired the most I can tell from experience and most clans are not gonna accept a rushed th15

Not if you rush properly. Max the army camps, useful troops, laboratory, spells factories, barracks, heroes, storages and maybe collectors. Ignore defences, walls and traps.

I mean, rushing leaves you vulnerable to attacks and you can lose a lot more loot that way

Yes...but no. Although it's easier for people to attack you, only a small % of your loot is offered per attack from an opponent. Furthermore, since you get shields, you often attack 3 or 4 times for every time you take a defense, allowing you to mass more loot

@@catlord9276 you make a good point but that thought that runs across your mind where you want to leave your account and dont play it in the first place when th11 was the maxed th I rushed from th7 to th9 that was when I made a big mistake even with low trophy count I had alot of loot my base getting three starred every time and I didn't play the game for like 6 months that's when I say alright I'm gonna fix the base and dont move from th9 until everything is maxed then I didn't play the game for another 2 years until late November 2019 when th13 was just released during that time I moved on to th10 and where I'm at now a maxed th15

I have 3 th15 and 1 th14 (my main) I treat them equally the th14 was made first so technically it's strong but my 3 halfy rushed (th12s buildings) th15s been upgrading lots faster although it's no fun very little strategies

My biggest tip with rushing is to plan the rush around a break point Personal favorites are Th7 - you get dragons, hogs, and your first hero and it lets you build a foundation in the core of the game without wasting too much time fumbling around with the same army from th4 Th9 - you get everything from Th7 but now you add things like witches and the queen so you can now use what can be considered a proper army Th10 - this is where you can get your first taste of siege machines and what alot of people consider as the golden era for the community, this was the town hall we had for so long that we got to the point that armies and bases got the closest to perfection Th11 - Super troops and grand warden to round out any kinks in your army but if your getting this far you need to catch up you base before you rush any further. After Th11 only rush one or two Th levels ahead so that way you can handle any issues that come up and you have the core of a good base so you arent useless in cw and cwl

Make sure to upgrade the goblin, haste spell, and jump spell while rushing to the TH11. Do not upgrade to TH12 until you are fully maxed on TH11 except lab. It takes way too long to max compared to the builder time of the structures.

Stop listening to people like this trying to justify rushing. As a clan leader myself I can guarantee you that we never want rushed players in our clan wars, which is a major part of the game that you may miss out on. It is incredibly hard to attack and defend, and is not as enjoyable for you

Me too, currently my rushed account at TH 14 and had unlocked Flame Flinger, decided to stay still for recovery and not really interested to rush until TH 15 and unlock that Battle Drill, still couldn't use it anyway. Just, rushing really sucks, very limited army comp to use, i just could do Sneakies and E-Drags which i sucks at, and Drags in general just sucks as well and i have no choice to stick with that. Definitely not recommend to rush your base for anyone unless you have some goals for rushing

You have to tech into each army specifically. You all didn't strategic rush, and are thus struggling because you're not able to maximize offense on your way up. STrategic rushing gets better results overall (:

@@bdlegendcoc maximizing offense won't happen instantly don't you think? I've been doing farming in that account, so my Goblins already maxed and E-Drags even though they sucks, they are strong troops by themselves even without Heroes or high level support spells, every other strats relying to Heroes to get value, so I have E-Drags high levels. Already have access to Super Minion, Headhunter and E-Titan for defensive CC in CWL, and still working for Super Wizard, but firstly i wanted to maximizing my Siege Machines for my other accounts and clan mates, and Sieges really takes days to up without Gold Pass, and eventually gets longer each level. Like i said, my goals for rushing are those Siege Machines, obviously i wanted to max them up. What keeps me for rushing because a Good Blimp eradicate the whole core, Log Launcher open path like a charm, and Flame Flinger destroy half of the base by itself, can't get enough with all of them, so satisfying.

I lost my account after playing for like 2 years in middle school, I was th9 and was keeping up mostly with upgrades and no rushing, and I had like all lvl 8 or 9 walls thinking the wall grind was insane, but I recently started playing again, and I rushed to th10 in a week, and had all lava walls in the same week. I bought builders and that was it. It really just is not worth it to full upgrade before levelling th.

i get it why people hate rush player so much cus the majority of people that rush just a bunch of jackass trying to get highest town hall as fast as possible, their town hall is at 15 but their skill stuck at th8, but again if you using a proper strategy for example don't build the exclusive defense for th that you rush so in war your rank still in you original th and using book, hammer etc properly for time efficiency its actually kinda benefits, for me personally i rush my sec account from th9 to th11, get the sneaky goblin as fast as possible, focus upgrading 1 strategy troops (for me im focusing to upgrade dragon, balloon and zap so im still can attack in war), i dont build my eagle artillery, inferno tower and grand warden to early so in war my enemy still a premature th 10, for ±4 months i already max out my heroes and majority of my troops

Nah bro I hate rushing its only for noobs. Literally, the purpose of the game is to mx out ya account, not about stealing others dark elixir, upgrading your heroes and then upgrading TH!! You can rush in your alt account but if you rush your main account, trust me, its gonna be disaster when you are max TH and you are trying to max other buildings. That also effects a lot in clans. You dont get selected for Clan War League(CWL) unless your clan is trash and dont have good players, You dont get accepted in good clans when you send requests. Also, you are stealing other peoples's dark elixir, but you are also getting stealed at the same rate(unless you pay for the gems and always keep shields).

I do agree somewhat that it would be a hard if you're new to the game. But strategic rushing is not a bad thing at all if you know what you're doing. If the game is about maxing out your account like you said, then doing strategic rushing is the best way to do it. Rushing with a strategy in mind is not bad and people need to get that out of their head that it's not 2013 anymore, and it's not a "noob" thing to do anymore. For clans, there are specific clans that are meant for farming and does FWA (Farm War Alliance) for loot. I'm in one and it's an amazing clan for getting tons of loot really fast. They're a family of clans so I can hop into their war clan if I wanted to. You just need to find what suits your playstyle. Clash has so many types of clans, it's almost insulting to say "you'll struggle if you do __" because there's probably a clan that do those things and are going to help you and everyone else out. The most burning question would be that since you're speeding through the TH's, your attacks would be terrible right? Not really, since you're speeding through the TH's, you're not really missing out too much since lower TH's attacks don't really transfer into later TH's. Again if you know how the game already works, there's no point in staying in TH11 or below. But, if a new player does decide to do strategic rushing and know nothing about troop AI, it still wouldn't effect them as much since you're still attacking to get loot. Over time they will learn. They're simply passing through the lower stages to get to what's more fun and in the meta right now. So practicing the armies that does well at later TH's will be more beneficial in the long run due to them getting to the higher TH quicker, so they have more time to practice on what matters.

I agree with SDseb (thanks for taking the time to write out such a fleshed out response!). There are a lot of clans that embrace rushing now, and you can find them with ease on Discord/reddit. Additionally, you are not getting your DE stolen at the same rate. Every time someone attacks you, you have only a % of your DE availalbe to them, and then you get tons of shield. In that shield time, you can attack 3-4x more, which will earn you TONS more DE than the amount you lost from one hit. Everything else was answered above

@@bdlegendcoc Exactly, unless you attack like once every few days (Man you must be really busy if that's the case). You'll earn your loot back in just 2+ attacks. I have an account that's played traditionally. I'm going super slow to really experience and enjoy each town hall before moving onto the next one. Planning to go to TH15 on my main later this spring/early summer. After that, I could say i'm finally on the max town hall after a decade of being on and off of this game. It's been a really long grind, but it's worth it, clash is a slow game with long upgrades, but that's part of the reason why I love the game and play it to this day. Taking it slow and see the progress you've done throughout the years. I'm glad they made rushing not a death sentence anymore, and there's just so much ways to play the game. Supercell really are geniuses when it comes to making long lasting games.

When I was upgrading to townhall tell, the first thing I do was immediately build required building, and then upgrade the townhall again. Using the boost and the time of upgrade, I tried my best to max out on my army camp and goblin.

You just need 5 to 6 builders and a Rush th 11 with level 7 goblin to unlock the super goblin a max troop capacity including CC troops. I recommend that you rank up to crystal 2 for the best free loot because that's where you usually find dead base's

If you rush your base, you must upgrade firepower first before jumping to next th, that includes, lab, camps, castle, spells, etc... And you must upgrade the troops you use the most first, I rushed my base from th10 to th12 and it honestly was a mistake because I had to do more than 100 heroe levels combined, that's a lot of time and resources plus a lot of time without heroes.

Rushing is actually good if you upgrade everything except traps and defences not including x bows, infernos, eagle artilleries, scatter shots and monoliths. And sice you have to upgrade a lot of heroes at th 9 why not get all your resource collecters from 1 to Max with the free 3 builders and upgrade the walls and main defences with remaining gold and elixir also focusing on laboratory.

I did rushed my base so I can get my 4th builder (I'm f2p), and to unlock all social features in the game. New accounts now is very easy to rush because of the bonuses you get specifically when finishing a Town Hall upgrade I get bonuses most important is a MAXED TROOPS. And the bonuses gets add up tho the effects doesn't stack only gives me more time. So what I did was, after I finished upgrading to new town hall I always prioritize the Laboratory because doing so gives me Maxed out troops and spells for a few days. Then upgrade the Army Camp, Baracks, Spell factory and Storage. I thought about rushing to TH9, but I already got what I want, I unlocked Clan features (clan games, Raid, trader), and got my 4th builder. I'm staying here at TH7 I'm having fun here. I don't really care much about my defense because if someone really want me dead I'm dead, it's fine to loss 300k gold when I can attack 3-4 times and get 1-2 million to regain and make more profit. How about clan wars? Well who cares? Every town hall in top11 and below will get rekt anyways, I can consider myself lucky our clan isn't a bunch of try hards we don't even do mirrors and because the top 20 players can take care of the everything, The rest of us just clear out the weakest base so our top players don't have to waste their time.

The only town hall I remember rushing was 8 so I could get to 9 and have an archer queen. Otherwise I've maxed out all of my other TH's before upgrading and I'm on 13 now. I did rush my builder hall though to get the 6th builder

You can also easily find bases with a lot of loot by purposely dropping down to bronze or silver. There's lots of bases that havent been on in forever that just have a stockpile of resources from their full collectors. You don't have to rush your base to get good loot

Bro honestly i feel much better and happy doing it all while maxing out every TH properly ... it helps everywhere ... its difficult for new players rushing but trust me every townhall gets more interesting and teaches you new combinations and plans of attack in the meantime so honest opinion not a fan of rushing at all
