His songs, The majority of his songs he did not write and some of the ones he did he plagiarized and had to pay dearly. Just ask Bob Dylan! He's a poser. Even copied his singing style from the late great Steve Marriott. This song was written by another great Tim Hardin.

Complete and utter nonsense. Get over yourself. The world recycles itself all the time: Great songs and tunes. The Beatles and the Stones started in the same way. Rod Stewart makes a great job of every song he sings. I call it paying homage.

Had the pleasure to meet Rod in London at a pub. I am a professional bass player. The nicest most down to earth person who would laugh and drink a pint with you or anybody. I thought it cool because many locals coming and going from the pub, yell out "Hey Rod". Seemed like the locals all knew him.

Spent a fortune on the jukebox playing and replaying "Maggie May " at the Fifth Quarter in Athens Ga. I am pretty sure I am the reason Maggie went to #1 in the USA.

Let's remember Tim Hardin, who wrote "Reason to Believe" and died of an overdose in 1980. A great song! RIP

You 've expressed loving somebody with such a wonderful way:! Love in other words with your wonderful voice: " Someone like you, makes it hard to live with somebody else, someone like you makes it easy to give "... These are my favourite lyrics in this song! Because what it means when you say "I love you " ? Love has to be real life, you have to do something that makes love something you can touch, you can have, something you can give...

It must have been awesome! To have been picked as Rod Stewart’s violinist!🎻 To go from playing in a string ensemble to being the only violinist on stage and your violin is the dominant instrument in this song! Totally Awesome!
