Thankyou for the candid, dramaless explanation. I have been researching a necklift because my neck laxity is inconsistent with my face wrinkles. I am 62 in great shape (still jog), and have good facial muscle tone

Do you recommend pts to get a mini neck lift when they first see signs of aging or wait until there is noticeable and/or significant skin laxity from collagen and elasticity reduction? Also what treatments do you provide with facelifts or neck lifts? Do you automatically incorporate PRP, PRF, and/or fat transfer/grafting with your lift procedures?

If you don't have significant facial laxity I believe you can get a very nice improvement in your facial contours with a "mini-facelift"If you have significant flattening of facial contours or fat atrophy then I commonly recommend fat grafting as additional step. The grafting typically is performed on the same day as the facelift prior to the facelift procedure

Depends the type of neck surgery is customized based upon the degree of skin laxity, muscle laxity, fat protrusion, and prominence of your submandibular glands so I am not trying to be evasive but we have to define the problems before I can quote you a price

Where are you located? I watch everything you have on surgery. Sitting here healing from abdiomplasy and breast lift. At 67, I thought about face lift 10 to 15 yrs will be the rest of my life.

What would be the price for some of your procedures, and where do you stay after the procedures? If you go overseas for plastic surgery they usually have places to stay with nurses. Where would out of state patients stay in New York. Thank you❤

The longevity of a facelift is really dependent upon the patient, their habits and their genes but in general mini- facelifts imply limited dissection of the soft tissues of the face and therefore this technique probably? does not last as long.

I’m going to be a young 60 yrs old in June. So, needless to say I kinda vain. I wish someone would do something for my face. I have several autoimmune diseases. Lupus, Sjögrens, MCTD. So no?

I believe you can still have a facelift depending upon the severity of your underlying conditions but with added risks.

Please clarify--are a necklift and a mini facelift the same thing?

No , a necklift can be performed in isolation from upper facial lifting.Small incisions around the ears and below the chin. A "mini-lift" extends the incision upward along the contours of the ears and hairline and may include some neck dissection as well.

A facelift price could really range and it’s really based upon region and experience. But a great facelift should start around 30k and can go up to 100k. Everyone’s case is different and it’s really based upon many factors including whether you need to have other plastic surgery procedures at the same time including if you need facial fat grafting which is now very common and what I do in my practice when I do facelifts to address facial atrophy that we all develop as we age.

You can still have a successful facelift if you are bald. I’ve done facelifts on many men who had limited hairlines or were completely bald.

Six months ago I had a face neck lift, some parts of my face and my neck they still numb and my neck has presented many unevenness under the jaw, I still have double chin and the skin is falling and I still have wrinkles. My surgeon is very disappointed with thecresult and he wants to redo the surgery again. what do you recommended me. , I am 70 years old. After the surgery, he removed the drainage the next day of surgery and never put a band wrapping around my neck and face like some surgeons recommend. Please I need your advice. Thank you
