kids, heres some achieve, dont go to uni, its all one big scam, find something your passionate about and teach yourself to be the best you can at it, because truthfully the ridiculous amount of dept and pressure of feeling a signed piece of paper determines how skilled you are, really isn't worth it, take a break from academic education, and educate yourself on the topic of "self", travel, do something new, meet new people, learn new things, life is not linear, there are so many paths to take.

1) Because you become indoctrinated into behaving like and elitist. (2) Your self worth is attached to a qualification, not your own achievements. (3) You don't come out any more intelligent by an extra four years at school. (4) Enlightened employers, the kind that it is exciting to work for, will regard you as a mug for having gone to Uni when compared with a peer that just got on with chasing their dreams. (5) Post graduates cannot think rationally as most are sewn up into the IN-Group of "So what was your degree" elitists. (University is an arrogance factory, and so post-graduates lose the humility needed to learn wisdom).

Sixth form tutors can definitely be biased at times to lean more towards attending university, but it isn’t always the right choice for everyone. Not going to uni because you aren't academic is not a reason, there is so many creative degrees to choose from

I wish I realised I wasn’t ready for uni. Would have saved myself a lot of time and money. Also my degree was in outdoor education. Utter shite. I dropped out after 1 year. Did some travelling and then did an apprenticeship in outdoor leadership with kings wood. Since then I’ve worked for 3 other outdoor companies. Done more work in that field than most of my classmates. I don’t know about other degrees but don’t bother doing one in outdoor education. I think the more people that don’t do uni the better. Because there are sooo many graduates with useless degrees.

Hey there, Sorry to hear that university wasn’t for you. It is frustrating to realise this after investing time and money in a degree that you felt was useless! Well, said. Not being academic is not bad. In fact it can be better than being academic. it is just different. There are 1000s of careers for non academic people.

I'm too old to go to the university at 41. All it has is age limits 18-39. It's forbidden for me not to go the university. I'm not allowed. It's boring.

University does not have an age limit and while there may be lots of opportunities geared towards younger students, there may also be opportunities for mature students too. @@TheMixUK The law has passed for age limits between 18-39. Not at any age is allowed. It's going to be trouble. They don't have anything for me to study and learn. University is not a school of education. I dislike professors. I refuse a degree because of fake and big lies. Like a fake ID.

I already have job offers with my current IT knowledge. Im going to Uni to expand that knowledge for more job offers. ...did I mention that Jokes on you?

Jokes on you, some people can get apprenticeships which lead to real jobs E.G.- not sat behind a desk pretending not to be on Pornhub everyday.
