No really it should put sims 2 and sims 3 together. With better graphics. That would be such a powerful game.

There are mods for that and they work well

there are mods now that can help with these kind of issues. we have the smooth patch and other things that you can do in order to help with lag.

@@SnrubSource - The Sims 3 Store has really nice stuff but you're not forced to buy any of it because there is SO MUCH great free CC for TS3. Plus what are you talking about predatory? TS4 base game is so empty, people need to buy all the tons of DLCs for it just to make it a little interesting (but it still gets very boring quickly). THAT'S predatory, not TS3's store.

(Warning: This is a long comment) I started playing Sims 3 when I was 9 years old. And I was so surprised by the variety of possibilities in the basic version of the game. If my sim was a famous musician, then he was driven to work by a pink limousine or a black one (I don't remember well what kind of limousine was in which career, sorry😅). But I remember well the situation when I arranged my sim to the local police station. A police car was automatically added to his luggage. So when he took time off to take care of his children, he continued to drive that car. 😂 It's so weird, but that's why I love Sims 3. I also remember waiting for a meteor to fall, or how it almost killed my sim and I was nearly crying when the meteor fragments started falling around her.😰 (I was a sensitive child, and there was a tense sound of meteor, that made this moment even worse). And then she was abducted by aliens, because she stayed in place and collected the pieces of meteor. Also, with the sims 3 addons I got into collecting stones, cutting them into different shapes, and selling them. And my families always practiced alchemy, so they could make potions and sell them in a special shop that was frequented by zombies that growled at my characters, and sometimes had bitten them to turn into zombies too. I also love imaginary friends, and mummies, and other supernatural beings. Travel to different countries, higher education and campus life, and different interesting cities with their own family stories to read, as well as secret locations, secret doors... There was so much in The Sims 3 that I can't even list it all right now. Even now, when I haven't played Sims for many years, I still learn something new about this game that I never knew even after playing it for years, before quitting it. I really want Sims 5 to be at least a little similar to the previous parts (taken together), otherwise I don't see the point of making the next part of the game. (Sorry for making such a long comment, I just had to speak it out loud to finally express all my thoughts about The Sims.)

That's the thing that hurt me the most, I played Sims 4+DLC for 3 weeks then had enough and switched back to base game Sims 3 and have more fun playing the game.

I do not know about the comment owner but I have been using HP Envy (2019 or 2020 version im not sure) and it runs sims 3 perfectly. Ofc Nrass mods like mastercontroller, overwatch and traffic do help a lot.

i love horses too but i think it’s better to have a separate pack with horses cause you can do so much with them like doing races or breeding them. so that they wouldn’t be underdone if you get what i mean :)

Yep, people always give Sims 4 shit, but the one thing they never mention is that Sims 4's camera controls and build more are just better (minus some details). I once tried to play Sims 2 again and just couldn't because the controls felt so irritating to me now

The Sims 4 people look just slightly too cartoonish imo, while the other games are slightly cartoonish they had a bit more realism

@@leDespicable i spent years playing ts4 before changing to 3, so i can tell you the control thing is not that big of deal. at the beginning i found it strange, but after a couple days i got used to it & now i even prefer ts3's controls, you have more options and povs with them

@@onlyfrog Of course you can get used to everything, but objectively the controls are more intuitive in Sims 4. It's still missing some features though, of course.

Imagine TS3 with the build mode of the TS4. Also car door animations like from TS2 in there too. TS3 is my favorite, followed closely by TS2. TS3 is the game I plan to buy all the expansions, and probably stuff packs for.

There’s no excuse for TS4 not having all the gameplay features from TS3, along with the upgraded graphics. GRAPHICS DON’T MAKE A GAME, ELECTRONIC ARTS!!!

That's where I'm disappointed. The sims seem to lack more detail in 4 than in 3. In 3 the hair was so fun, there was a color wheel for that, roots, highlights. Last time I tried 4 there were like 3 or 4 fun haircolors

Sims 4 stripped everything fun out of Sims 3 … then, charged more for it. Which tells me more about the lack of programming skills in modern kids than it does about EA. Programmers aren’t as creative or skilled as they once were. Everyone is just lazy today.

@@AdmoreMethod likely its rarely nothing to do w/ the skill of the programmer but rather the mega billion dollar Tripe A studio never giving their employees actual time to have fun & create something new. it’s jusy about money now, the companies are the lazy one’s. Quite counterintuitive to criticize the employees rather than who’s actively controlling & forcing them put out lackluster nonesense. Not to mention EA being too lazy to actually HIRE playtesters. Game had shaky foundations & in 2023 they still have not accommodated.

In the Sims 4 Get to Work you are able to deliver a baby in the hospital; and you can go inside with them while it's going on

@@henrikeotzipka6998maybe late, but my favorite are late night, supernatural, generations, seasons, pets, and island living. I would say the other packs are more like sims 4 in the sense that they serve like one purpose rather than being part of the entire game experience (other than showtime which just felt lacking to me). But all of those packs are truly game changing and can be used at any time in any world and feel necessary.

Yeah, if you have more than three packs installed then it lags a lot. There are ways to fix it though. Open world and color wheel also make the game lag. They left that information out. Sims 3 is still great though.

Sims 3 got me hooked to keep on supporting the game. Sims 4 made me leave the game. Gay game developed lazy mfs lol

i would like you to try out nraas mods, especially overwatch and errortrap. they help make the game stable.

​@@henrikeotzipka6998me too, I played Sims 4 on my pc, downloaded all available mods, made possibilities but still it lacks a personal feel to it. So I decided to install Sims 3 last night & downloaded some good mods, then I pretty enjoyed it until now. The open-world map without loading screens, snappy Sims interactions (no freezing Sim, unlike in Sims 4), and everything is just so refined. ❤

​@henrikeotzipka6998 Generations is the only EP I don't have (and I'm not getting it for personal reasons), but it's highly recommended in the community. I personally recommend Ambitions and Seasons. Ambitions in particular is an absolute must-have.

I really wanna play sims 3 but it performs shit on mine (even though it has nraas). Half-second freezing when I click on any sim, screen tearing even when I enable vsync and limit frames to 59-60 fps, fps keeps jumping to a wide range of lower values instead of being consistent... I guess I'll just stick with my heavily modded sims 4 that somehow still runs fine :(

@@henrikeotzipka6998 hi! you said this a while ago but I would 100% recommend sims 3! however, it can crash easily. For example I have a MacBook Air 2020, I can only play it if airplane mode is on and if I deactivated I cloud, or it won't work. Also the game has tons of bugs, most of them can be fixed my clearing the cache or using community bug fixes (mods) but it just take sometime to fix these problems and may take multiple tries. Generations, ambitions, and world adventures are so fun! I also love into the future. I grew up with both games and sims 3 is much better in my opinion I cant play sims 4 anyone cause of how boring it is in comparison. But make sure your computer is compatible!

TS4 doesn’t freeze because it only has 10% of the features of TS3.

TS4 is like a gorgeous plastic dummy with limited poseability.

Maybe you don’t have a good pc because it works fine for everyone else
