Hello people welcome back to the channel ajj ki iss video mai ham baat karenge ki maine Yamaha FZ-S V4 kyu li rather than TVS Apache RTR 160 4V or MT 15 and also mera 2 Month ownership experience of Yamaha FZ-S V4

I also finalised and test driven both apache 160 4v and fzs v4 . Went with the apache 160 solely for the gear ratio, seat cushioning,front suspension comfort, and pick up.. I prefer the looks of fzs v4 over apache but i took turns and test drove both on same road and for me the difference in driving experience was too evident to ignore between both the machines. Aapna aapna zarurat aur preferences hai but out in open road i felt fzs was struggling to keep up with other drivers which was not with the apache. Now about 1700 kms done. Till now everything looks good Fingers crossed😁

Yes that's true Apache is also a great product actually it better than fz I agree but handling is way way better in yamaha than tvs

How to change gears when speed is high like 45-55 kmph and my gear is 4 but as decreasing speed the gear shifting is becoming hard and difficult to leave the clutch feeling like it's giving a jerk how to ride while decreasing speed can I fastly downshift gears 4 to 2 phat phat pl reply

No you cannot downshift phat phat because it'll damage your gears and you should let the speed reduce till 38 and then downshift

Good review. Your mistake not to chk website about dual channel abs. Your complaint about fiber parts not really true. If metal like old fz mileage will be 45. V4 giving 55. I prefer that. My shortlist also same. But I feel hornet more value for money. Just 10k more and u get extra power, torque, 110 front tyre, 10 year warranty, gear position indicator and usd fork. Only blue tooth and traction control missing. Blue tooth is useless - just a hype. So one minus so many plusses. Still I like fzs looks especially the new white

Bro...Tcs and the extra wide tyres are extremely useful. Gazab ka confidence ata hai 119 kmph tak highway mein chalane mein bhi. The brakes are extremely good. Also the wider rear tyre helps in cornering and stability while driving fast. There's zero wobble or vibrations even at 119 kmph. The pickup is very very good. It can reach upto 104 kmph in absolutely no time. Only downside is that once it crosses 104 kmph, it takes quite some time to accelerate further. Mine is less than a month old and I'm getting a mileage of 55.5 km/L on highways and around 45-47 in city traffic. Edit : one more downside is that the rear suspension is a little on the stiffer side.

Good review, but for the purpose you stated I am a bit surprised you didn't look for neither honda unicorn nor sp160. Both would have been better then fz.

@@VashuSaini-ThatYamahaGuy I asked the service centre guy, he said it’s fine no problem, whenever the bike doesn’t starts that will be the problem, now it’s completely good. Next month July 13th it’ll complete 1 year, can I get the battery replaced ??

No you don't need to get the battery changed, if it's not problematic and starts your bike easily then it's healthy no need to change

Apache 160 4v & n160 are far superior to this bike. Not having dual channel abs is the biggest drawback of this bike apart from engine power.

in terms of comfort and ride quality its way better, yes it is underpowered but the power is sufficient for a commuter

Iska fibre dihila nahi hoga agar aap rough road mai aram se chalaoge to, mujhe to koi panel gap issue nahi hua abhi tak aur milage apko fzs v4 mai beter milegi rather than ns160

Mene pichle month me li hai bike, bike to mast hai, muje mileage bhi 71-73 kmpl milti hai, speed only 45-50 kmpl honi chahiye.. Speed maintain karoge to mileage badhiya deti hai.

For all the viewers, in short its a good reliable machine at a very bad price. After 6 months this will be the most boring bike for you. Buy better and then you will get used to it. It’s a bad buy. If you are japanese machine oriented, go for Honda Hornet 2.0 at the same price nearly. If you can persist indian manufacturers there are lot of options like RTR160 2v, N160 etc etc. Yamaha has never acquired to indian taste and hence upto R3, pricing is always off. Great machines at very bad price. And please, nothing can justify that. 🤫 Start cutting on yamaha, they will be bound to bring the price down someday soon.
