Buona visione!

Reb......I know you are much more than HEADED FOR A HEARTBREAK, but your work on that tune is so under-rated in the world of music. It is practically a primer for the top solos anyone could aspire to. The last 2 minutes of that song is all you......puts me in a trance man....TY!!

I met Reb when he did a clinic for Ibanez at Duquesne University School of Music in Pittsburgh. He was the nicest, most down to earth guy EVER. And then he proceeded to melt your face off with his amazing playing.

Jesus Christ; his real name is or was, Rich. In this piece, he fails to mention that he quit BCM. I am a BCM Grad. I knew Rich back in school in Boston. We were in a few of the same classes for a few simesters. We weren't beat buds, but we worked on a few projects together. I remember him vividly. He was always bringing in magazines and cassettes from bands out in L.A. I think he wanted to be there and not at Berklee with us nerds. He was the hell raiser of us all.....always wanted to make it louder, make it more "rockin". I knew he walked out of college, but it looks like he did pretty damn well for himself. Good for him. If I ever have the chance to see him again, I KNOW he would remember me and the guys we hung with in Boston. I am a huge fan, and he is, and was.....a great musician. Keep rockin, Bro!

Yeah, he wasn't into it and didn't want to wind up a studio guitarist where guitar was a real job, so when the chance to join Kip and make records and tour came around he dropped out. Don't blame him.

Hey Reb when we hung out in Duxbury playing ping pong in the basement it was cool. I remember the next summer you had an acoustic guitar. You were just learning. You and I would smoke blond hash. Then that guitar was glued to you.Reb was always a nice guy and a good friend.Would like to say hi.Robbie Waters.

Winger was on tour with Ozzy around 1989-90. I meet him on he street and he was so cool to us even though we were high school sofmores. Signed our stuff took time to talk with us and killed it playing the show. Class act through and through.

My favourite Whitesnake guitarist since John Sykes. He plays with thought as well as technical skill and he also sings very well too. I hope his album sells by the truckload as he's very talented and comes across as a genuinely good guy.

What a great talent, and hard worker. We could use more like Reb. The guy is clearly one of us in the way that we all love what we love, and appreciate those who have come before us, and even question our own ability at times. The guy seems genuine and wonderful. What a great artist, and amazing player. Thanks Reb.

Moreover, the interviewer asks good and founded questions, it seems like he has read about Reb and all of his work, the result is a well structure interview, I have seen people interviewing on TV without knowing "shit" about the person interviewed and is not surprising all those interviews lead to "out of context" questions

Reb has to be one of the most down to earth "rock stars" out there. Same with Doug Aldrich. Incredible players and no egos. A rare combination in that business! I wish the interviewer would've asked him about his time in Dokken. In fact, I don't think that I have ever even heard Reb talk about his time with them. I'd like to know how he was hired, the making of Erase The Slate, touring (I saw two shows when Reb was with and were both great shows, and the reason for his departure.

No comments ? What's up with that. Reb I have been following you since seventeen. You playing seventeen, I am loving how you p.ay the solos note for note. Too often you see concerts where the guitar solos are nothing like the original. The live concert at Berkely is played. In my garage at least twice a day. 24 /7 365 The Generica solo is always a great jam. Also Ike you I have no new music in my cars or garage. Ace Frehley really ? Dude you are a great player with great melodic lead breaks that sound astronomical.

If you liked him before there's no reason to change just because he has very specific tastes. Those tastes are what made him the player he is and the player you admired. As far as growing, he does and he has. It just comes from playing live, working with those around him and creating on his own. The new songs for his album are fantastic.

it's a shame, I've noticed that he's not the only 80's musician that refuses or will not admit to listening to anything new. It always surprises me because there honestly is a lot of great music and musicians out. Just wish more people were open minded...it could open their writing capabilities or inspire them to come up with some more cool riffs.
