I just lost My Brother this past March and I lost My Dad to the Same thing to Drinking and I watched them both passed away.😢 an it is still very very Hard for Me! My mom and i always used to watch the Reba sitcom reruns on TV all the time. It was a part of our bond over our love of tv shows and our shared experience with that is a memory i will hold forever. My mom died in 2016 at just 50 years old from cancer and i miss her every day

Reba I understand what you said about maybe not doing music and it was all for mama. I had similar feeling, that much of what I was always trying to accomplish in a certain area had to do with my mom. When she was suddenly gone, seemed so was the interest and importance of all of that! It was quite a big realization. I've found it does change, much of it does leave, and then you customize it more for yourself, and then much of it is still there. Takes years of adjustment (decades?). Nice to hear another person speak about it.
