@@ivanelias3916 I can't speak for the whole world, but I personally don't like Lucy because of how harmful her lack of communication would end up being as well as her absolute terrible judgment. For one, she's Manic as hell. Lucy in episode 2 is not the same Lucy that's in epsiode 3. Lucy in episode 3 is not the same Lucy that's in episode 7 onwards, and no not in a literal sense. She acts like a entirely different person. First she's this cool, confident, but kinda crazy pixie girl. After Maine attacks David she would then go on to be a lot more reserved and standoff-ish. Which is okay considering she felt bad for what she did. Flash forward a couple episodes later and she's a cold, completely distant emotional wreck. There isn't enough time with her to get a complete grasp on the type of person Lucy is, and because of that she feels disjointed as a character. I was okay-ish with her at first, although immediately lying to David already didn't bode well in my opinion of her. Continuing on with that though, I still didn't have too much of a problem with her until after Maine died. During that mission she finds out David is being targeted by Arasaka and decides not to tell ANYONE. mind you, after that episode? David takes over the group and leads them for a whole YEAR. That is a year that she refuses to tell him anything about the way she's acting (and because he cares about her so much he never even really presses the issue. I assume David just thought she was hung up on all the deaths) So she, who we find out had been being chased by Arasaka as a kid, decided to withhold the information that that David is a high priority to them, while also knowing that Arasaka is still chasing after her as well. By the time she's able to warn David, it is WAAAAAAY to late. They probably wouldn't had even taken on that last job with Faraday because the minute he tells them it's an Arasaka convoy they'd know something is up. Shit, if she had decided to stay in the group she could've even helped steer David away from any jobs that would mean his certain death, but no her big plan was to keep killing as many Arasaka Netrunners as she possibly could, without thinking of the consequences that might had had. She made a bigger target out of herself trying to keep eyes off David, and she should've known that it wouldn't had mattered since Arasaka is still chasing her too. So essentially... Nothing she does after Maine's death makes any sense, and her emotionally driven decisions did nothing but hurt the whole group. In trying to save David she only made everything worse. For the life of me, I am just unable to fathom just how keeping the fact one of the largest and most powerful organizations on the planet are keeping tabs on him would do anything BUT hinder David.

@@mikealangeloy Respectfully if you don't like Lucy then you're cringe. The whole point of the show is to show the self-destruction downward spiral of David and friends. Lucy even explains that she hid the arasaka thing because David would have jumped head first into the situation. Most people just like Rebecca because she's a cute gremlin with a shotgun. It's not that they hate Lucy lol.

@@uruxdrone Being an older brother myself I can't even fathom the idea of having my little sister killed, especially right in front of me. To further your point about bring close she took over being the party entertainment just like Pilar was, doing so was probably her way of honoring her brother's memory in a small way.

I think that's why she started hanging out at the bar more, taking on her brothers role as the goofball :'(

@@jonbaxter2254 That's also why she got oversized hand, this is the direct result of her failing to use the shotgun during the cyberpsycho incident, and failing to avenged her brother. Those small logical details are freaking awesome, adn really help develop the character in subtles ways.

@@alexjgilpin Bruh, no. Be happy with the friendship on its own merits and be a good friend for its own sake. Becca moved on from her crush, she was his best friend and that's what he needed her to be.

The theory I liked is that David has someone to hell with. Or someone to stay by his side wherever he ends up. He got a relationship with Lucy, and now he can have a relationship with Rebecca.
