she wasn't drunk... shouod read the case on it... she was not above the legal limit of alcohol... she was traveling behind another car and when it swerved to miss the boys she had no time to break and not hit them.. in either case two innocent children lost there life and she did not stop and she should have. She was actually tried to a higher extent cause of her status....

But, just to play devil's advocate, Ill tell you what REALLY happened because I did do my own research (unlike you): 1- It was a hit and run. If you are going to hit someone and THEN run and flee the scene - get fucked. 2- She was not drunk, however, she had a cocktail AND Valium, which they deemed JUST as bad as being drunk. She was out with her then lover having lunch (behind her husbands back). 3- Did I mention she FLED THE SCENE? Oh wait I did , sorry. SHE FLED THE SCENE! She was going 81 in a 45, chasing her lover. 4- She has showed zero remorse, she claimed she had already "been through enough" during the sentencing, and she was cheating on her husband so... Yea to say she was not a nice person is an understatement. 5- She tried to get her family to LIE for her and cover the accident up. They were also involved in witness and jury tampering. 6- She did NOT apologize to the family or the mother. She did however, send a letter to the family stating "she could buy a home and transform it into a family burn and trauma center dedicated to their sons." The family said the letter was made to be ALL about her. So yea. There ya go, some REAL information about the case.

A woman was drunk driving and killed a 17 and 19 year old and was sentenced to 7 years probation. A louiseville woman was driving drunk, crashed into a car and killed a far of 2, she was sentenced to 5 years but released after 2 months (yes I said months). She went back to prison because she couldn't keep her hands off the bottle. Cara Kenyon, the most recent one was sentenced to 7 years for a dui killing. But yeah, grossman's 15 years is all because of money ... sure.

If the DA stated otherwise, they need a refresher course in sentencing guidelines. 23 years as a criminal defense attorney state and federal courts.
