I almost made it on NBCs "The Voice" but got bumped out just before making it on TV! This is one of my audition videos I sent in the second round of auditions.
I was inspired to sing this song after we had sung it at church as a feature. We were talking about a deeper life through identity. In a way, this song seems like a cry for help for someone who is struggling with who they are and are dissatisfied with their life's situation.
If you ever find yourself stuck, feeling empty with no way out but you're still wanting to fight the good fight, then I encourage you to not fight the fight alone. We were never meant to do life on our own. We were made for community, made in the image of Jesus Christ. You are worthy of love and you deserve peace and joy in your life. So reach out!
